Sure it can. Here's my wonderful contribution to this discussion. Anything which ties back into MystressWorld is one of the variants of pro/fin domme stuff (eg: there's a financial transaction involved). If you don't like that stuff the you can safely ignore OSODD and simply think in terms of "obeying". If you are interested in paying for remote dominance then picking up the lingo of some place like MystressWorld makes sense if their particular kinky spin gets you hot & bothered.

Well, it looks like you have to submit the ap and then send email to the contact address before you're approved. I don't see a fee schedule for anything but maybe that comes after I submit the application. Want to help me draft a letter of inquiry?

Now, being new to kink, I don't feel so stupid any more, if the experienced few haven't heard of it.
I guess it's just another case of acronyms created by people for their training classes so they don't have to say the words over and over again.

I want to be trained and owned - but my desirability of being trained doesn't seem to include the need for OSODD unless it meant servicing HER (yea!), and not him. (yuck). It's forced servitude, being of service, pleasuring the Domme, and, to me, oral service on Domme's demand (in a way, it's osoDd, as opposed to OSODD). :)

Being of service means being of use. It also implies it is something solely for the Domme's pleasure, so if it's something you crave to do and do because you want to and not because she wants you to,and isn't useful to her, it's not service.

Many men make the mistake of thinking that because he "lets" the woman tell him how and when to fuck her, he is being submissive and that it isn't sex. They are wrong. Sex is sex. Commanding sex from a sub male is only appealing to the Domme when the male is attractive to her. But that still isn't service unless the male is for any reason not attracted to her.
