The biggest of kindness that was bestowed upon me was when I was attending a seminar in New Mexico when I lived in Massachusetts....it was a four day seminar and on the last day after everything was completed I called in my dinner order and was walking accross the parking lot to retrieve when someone pulled up next to me and snatched my purse. There goes all my money, credit cards and identification - to top it off I had an e-ticket!! thankfully this was before the 9/11 incident.
I called the police to file a report so I could get on the plane the next day and the hotel ran my bill before I cancelled my credit card.. My fellow classmates surrounded me when the heard about this, giving me consolation and then and just randomly started stuffing mine into my hand and purse.....I didn't know half of these people and any I did know it was casually thru the four day seminar :) Purse/Wallet was never found but my credit cards suffered no damage either so it was neutral.
While the incident was tragic it was also the brightest part of my trip and the most memorable :) ~ sending thanks out there to all those wonderful folks ~
