ORIGINAL: Moonlightmaddnes I can't see why anyone would want to be pregnant all the time. I am now, and while I do enjoy some things, I still get morning sickness sometimes even in the 8th month! I can't have a drink with my friends. I cant have tuna or most sea food due to mercury. I cant have lunch meats because of possible listeria, I get tired so easy now, I cant bend over very easily anymore and I get short of breath easier since my baby is now big enough to push against my diaphragm. I love a clean house and I tend to get grumpy when it gets cluttered but a day of my normal cleaning leaves my back in pain the rest of the night on top of all the other lovely aches. While this is a time I treasure with feeling my baby move I would not want to do it over and over again. In fact if I have anything to say about it I will not have another baby since this one has made me high risk. That sucks going to all the doctors appointments and the monitoring I have to do every week. I know it off topic, but... Congratulations on your upcoming bundle of joy. If you think you are tired now, wait until the baby is born. Sleep will be a thing of the past, lol. As for loving a clean house, have fun with that when baby becomes a toddler. They leave stuff on the floor and throw food on the floor, hee hee. Still it will be the best time of your life. Thank you! and oh I do know. This is my 3rd but they are spaced pretty far apart. My oldest is 19 and moved in with his girlfriend and my middle is 7. At one time I thought I wanted a few all at once, but one of my friends has had all 4 of her kids while on birth control. One time the pill plus a condom! Her 3rd was only two months old when she got pregnant with her 4th. She had 3 in diapers and one in Kindergarten. Watching her made me happy I never got my wish. I have taken her 3 little ones so she could have a shower. Two of her little ones are escape artists. No crib or baby gate can hold them so even if she puts them down for a nap, they escape, and she is married to a jerk who thinks it is too much for her to ask for him to watch their kids for half an hour so she can get a shower. But oh yes my now 7 year old was pretty good. We have a wet dry vac so I could get the peanut butter out of the couch and I became pretty good at getting mashed cheese off the TV screen. It will be easy now with a TV on the wall this time around. Only bad thing I really worry about is we moved to a bigger house and I cannot gate off the kitchen. There are shelves on either side of the doorway and no way to attach a gate. That will keep me chasing her once she is mobile.
