FR I hate to do it, but again I will reference the four lesbians. I grew to dislike them quite a bit. I thought their posts were vicious and offensive, designed to provoke. I used to roll my eyes at the thought of others here engaging with these "people" who were constantly negative, posting inflammatory nonsense, and insulting many, many people. (Myself included...I believe I had to ask them to refrain from calling me a cunt in their response.) So you know what I did? I didn't read their posts. That's all. I would never have dreamed of reporting any of them based on how I thought they were treating other people. I would not have ruined the experience that someone else was enjoying just because I didn't like them. Because then Heather/Hannah would have been right. I would have been acting like a cunt.

Kaliko, I am not sure if your post is aimed at me, but we have the RIGHT to report people on here. We don't need permission or a consensus of opinion in order to report posts. Just as people have the freedom to go over 50 pages giving "constructive criticisms" to the powers that be. The powers that be also created the "report" and hide features, which I enjoy using! I have several people on hide, and I make it a point NOT to read many posters/and threads. I always wonder about those that complain incessantly over several posters, but REFUSE to put them on hide, and continue to respond to them. [8\|] I USE the hide/ignore feature, it's great!! I am very selective in what I read, and respond to on these boards. In fact, I bet I normally don't read 80% of the threads created on this board. I am honestly answering the question asked in this OP, and I am not ashamed of reporting people. [;)]

(And for the record,...I personally don't engage with people on the boards if I know they're going to be nasty. You will seldom see me be truly argumentative on here, and even these last few posts are quite a stretch for me. I'm actually kind of a chickenshit on the boards. But that may be why I so enjoy watching those who have monumentally larger balls than I. And I dislike having that pleasure taken away from me. It's part of why I like the boards, and part of why I feel they're in decline. But that's another thread. Or two.)

The OP was, "Lets be honest have you ever reported anyone?" I honestly answered the OP, and I can guarantee you there are many chicken shits who report people all the time, that will not answer this question in public. I have the option of reporting people, and no one is going to dictate who or what I report, nor do I need anyone's permission to tell me what I can and can not report. I might go report crazy one day, and than that will be between me and the mods. A lot of this is for the mods to sanction and deal with in the end.

The problem is that the thread becomes totally dominated by 2 or 3 people and most that dont want to get in the middle of an online fist fight just run away from the thread entirely & ignores it.. which is why it becomes dominated by the 2 or 3.. What is wrong with the 2 or 3 people doing that via email instead of taking over the thread? Imo, its very much like thread drift, and that is not allowed.. I get that you enjoy watching that, some people enjoy watching UFC on tv too (which to me is the visual version of these "battles" lol), personally, I find both boring, brutal and instead of contributing to the thread, I just leave... I cant be the only one that does that..

I've been moving for the past few days so now I have all this pent up CollarChat energy.

lol Kaliko calm down! I will say this, I rarely report anyone. I have been on collarme over 8 years, and I doubt I have made over 20 reports {that's about 2.5 a year}. I admit these numbers could change! So when threads go poof it ain't me, it's your "buddies" who won't admit to reporting people.

Someone on one of these threads someplace said they go to a forum where there is an anything-goes forum and people that want to go crazy, name call and battle it out can go there.. the rest of the forums posters have to play nice.. maybe that is a possible solution?.. Some of my favorite posters are gone also but I have not asked them why, I sorta thought it was cuz of the continual personal attacks and they just got tired of that and banging their head against the brick wall.. I expect the reasons vary for each person tho..
