Hello everyone.

i've been thinking about something for the last few moments and decided that i would love to hear other people's experiences.

i am a clutz. proof in point that i just tripped going upstairs so hard that i have a small dent in my shin. and my toes are tingly and hurting. it got me wondering how many of you out there are clumsy like me... and has it effected your service to your significant other(s)?

i've been clutzy my whole life. no blood pressure or blood sugar issues. i'm a pretty healthy person. just get lots of bumps and bruises from random incidents like tripping while going up the stairs. i have looked into it before and the only explanation i've come up with is it could be linked to anxiety. which i've had my whole life as well.

thank you for your advice.

hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

where would you like me to begin.

I have crowned myself the queen of klutz

I have bruises in places I didn't even know possible.
I have fallen up stairs, down stairs, over my own two feet, over thin air.
There's a reason why neither my husband or Master comes near me when I hold a knife.
Master already knows that pretty much everything is a danger to me.
Even if you put me in a padded cell I'd still find a way to hurt myself.

And yes it has affected our play, pretty much every single time.
I pull on the ropes hard when I'm in pain, they tighten or break and things go flying like my hands or feet into Master's head or stomach or worse...his crotch.
And then I have to apologize because I feel awful for it.

Our play can get dangerous even if he wasn't a sadist. I can see it now....tickle me with a feather, I'll laugh so hard that the feather will go flying and poke me in the eye and then my arm will go flying into Master's head.

Yeah....that's pretty much how it goes each and every single time. For a Master who says he's not a masochist, he sure seems to take a beating from me.

ETA: Same here....no health issues that would cause it. I've been this way since the day I was born. I blame it on being a lefty.

oohh...nope, not alone.

When I first moved into my apartment, I have this set of stairs I have to go up. They were unpadded, just hardwood. I fell down the entire stairway, head over feet and dazed. I had to sit there for awhile before I even realized what had happened lol.

About a month later, my landlord carpeted the steps.

Well, I do have blood sugar and blood pressure problems along with a spinal injury and neck injury.

I have fallen up stairs, and down stairs, once falling in such a way that I did something to my neck and literally couldn't move for a couple of minutes.  Living alone, that was frightening feeling like the old women in that commercial with the, "help! I've fallen and can't get up," lol.  Thought I would die laying there and my cats would eventually eat my face.

Other times because of my back issues, I can just be standing one second and the next my legs just collapse and down I go.

I've been shopping and walked into one of those lolly colums in a store so hard, there was a bruise from the fire extinguisher (sp?) as well as brusing my sternum.  I was in so much pain for a couple of weeks, lol.

As for knives, even though I know how to really chop quickly, that is definitely going to slice off my finger.

Things have been like this so long, I don't even think about it anymore.  It is just part of life.

I only really get clumsy when I'm sleep deprived, but he's not likely to make any complicated demands of me in that state.

He's pretty damn clumsy though. We've never had any accidents because of it. He's a lefty too...

I'm a lefty too, and am phenomenally clumsy!

I have bumps and bruises all over from falling over and walking into things.

At the moment I have a bit of a goose egg on my scalp from standing up quickly in an under-stairs cupboard and bouncing my skull off the door frame

A couple of years ago I was talking to our Special Needs coordinator at school who was sitting in on some student assessments for dyspraxia. Just for fun, I did some of the tests too. Some of the kids who came away with a diagnosis of dyspraxia scored better in the tests than I did, lol!

ETA: I was playing with a friend a few years ago in a club. He fastened my wrists to a free-standing St Andrew's Cross. After about 10 minutes I started to drift into subspace, and got a bit giggly. Then REALLY giggly. Then laughing like a loon (it's the endorphins, honest!). I slumped against the cross, lost my balance and the whole thing tipped over. Yup, clumsy!

breagha, you're new here, else you would be aware of a formerly very prolific poster named sirsholly who defined klutzy. Her husband threatened to wrap her in bubble wrap.

My sub is dangerously clumsy. It ticks me off a little when she gets more bruises that way than I give her!

I am pretty clumsy.

I fall up the stairs, trip over my own feet, whack my shins on stuff, and occasionally smack face first into doors as I'm trying to open them/walk through them at the same time. I also have horrible balance.

I don't think it affects much or interferes with me accomplishing what he requires of me...I just sometimes accidentally hurt myself while going about things. Sometimes I accidentally smack him in the face with my arm or something and I feel bad about it, but he is good natured about it and doesn't mind my clumsiness.

As far as I'm aware I don't have any blood sugar or blood pressure issues. I'm also right handed (I guess I broke the klutzy-lefties combo!)

I'm klutz. Part of it is due to the fact that I haven't seen my feet since I was 12.

It's gotten to the point where even his friends will yell out "Bobbi, you okay?" when they hear a crash or bang.

One of the girls ALWAYS is doing something. It usually goes like: hubby and I will be sitting in the bedroom, she will walk past us into the bathroom, a few seconds later we hear a bang and crap falling and her yelping like a dog. Funniest shit ever. She hits her head so many times, I'm surprised he doesn't make her wear a helmet. She is a klutz!

this time of the year is the worst for me. Ice and clumsy do not mix. i've fallen so many times... sometimes when i'm just standing still. Master finds it amusing. somehow he also finds it endearing...

I felt like that when I fell down the flight of stairs and was dazed. I thought to myself I could be laying here dead for hours or a day till Master comes over. No one else would ever find my body. That kinda freaks me out these days ever since one of my favorite aunts died in her home and no one found her body for a month. She had become a shut in over the past few years before her death due to depression and her health and would not allow anyone to come in or answer her phone. So after awhile, everyone stopped trying to see her or talk to her. It really made me think as I become older and told Master about how it freaked me out. Thankfully he said that as long as he's around that would never happen. But still, even being dead for a day by myself in my home is a bit depressing as well.
