Status: offline 		The best way is to meet them in person and see if they look like their photo.

Other than that, you can use tinEye or google reverse image search which will show you if the photo is plastered all over the internet (so if it's taken from a porn site or a famous person it will show up) but if they are using a photo of their best friend or a picture from 20 years ago that won't help you.

Ask for an image of something specific (like a poster card with your name on it) as any real person should be okay with that at the least. I just spent 5 hours talking to someone I thought was my perfect match just to find out they would not send me a "thumbs up" picture. It's silly isn't it? Now some random nobody has a bunch of incriminating videos of me (not like I care). Such is life though I suppose. Subs always get the short end of the stick, and it isn't always part of the lifestyle :/

A lot of people do object to doing custom photos. Arranging a real-life meet will probably weed out the people pretending to be others.

Lesson learned I guess? Remember once you do something online, it's online forever. Even if they had sent you a custom picture, doesn't mean they wouldn't splash your 'incriminating videos' all over the internet. Sending (multiple) sexual vids with someone you've only known online for five hours isn't 'subs getting the short end of the stick' that's 'making bad decisions'.

Edit: you best take that link out of your profile to the other person - naming and shaming 'fakes' isn't allowed and will get your profile pulled.

I have been told several times, my photos are not of me.
I laugh, my photos and videos are on various sites.
I've even been told, "I did a reverse photo check and those photos are on various porn / fetish sites."
Duh! I put them there or worked for the people who did.


I would NEVER do a post card photo or even jump on webcam to proof I am real.
I would say, if you doubt I am who / what I say I am meet me for coffee.

As far as subs getting the raw end of the deal.
eh... it's not just subs or lifestylers for that matter.
I tell people all the time...
Webcams are NOT private!
Don't do anything on webcam that you wouldn't want someone posting.
They can and do.

Take personal responsibility for YOUR choices.
YOU choose to spend 5 hours talking to someone online.
YOU choose to send someone "incriminating" videos of yourself.
YOU made those choices.
Own them.
That isn't a sub or lifestyle thing.
THAT is a YOU thing.

People have differing views on establishing a vetting process. To some, giving tailored snapshots is something they don't care to do, they would rather meet in person. You viewing someone who doesn't wish to be seen yet as "silly" probably isn't going to win you many fans, as it seems that you are saying that your need for verification overrules their unease at that point in the meeting process.

You were incredibly stupid. Why would you send anything like that out to someone you haven't met? I don't look EXACTLY like the photos I have posted even though they are recent.
Hell less than a few mths old some less than 30 days old.
I can / do look different in just about every photo I take.

If one is so inclined requesting verification *before* creating "incriminating" vids should be the desired order, right.?

My personal position is no one is real until I meet them. It saves so much drama. (And yes, I know I'm lucky to live near San Francisco. lol)

Bingo. I would never provide pics to someone on the net. I don't see how people do that so casually without any concerns.

Are you referring to normal pics or compromising pics?

Normal pics I exchange all the time. I want to know who I'm talking to, and that person wants to know who he is talking to. It's not that there are no concerns, but you have to have some huevos in this game. Yeah, maybe there's a chance that he'll take out a full page ad in the times with my photo and giant block letters reading "THIS WOMAN SENT ME HER PHOTO ON A KINKY SITE." Oh well ... life's little risks.

As stated, there is somewhat of a risk sending uncompromising pics to someone on this site, but you can kind of explain those away in a more believable manner than if there were naked snapshots. That's the part I really don't understand, is how people can throw away things that don't even matter to them yet by acting on urges from their genitals without any thought to whether or not it might backfire on them. And yet we see it on here time and time again.

When I was single, anyone who asked for more photos than what was on my profile was met with refusal. I'm not going to jump through hoops to prove I'm real just to hold a conversation and I'm not really interested in starting something with someone that starts off with the assumption that I'm lying.
