Certain porn appeals to me mainly because I mentally visualize myself inserted either as the protagonist or the antagonist in the video.
Porn where I can't "identify" myself with, has absolutely no appeal.
For example, if the male in the video is similar to me, then I can easily identify with the porn, as I insert myself into the scene, and therefore it provides pleasure to me.
If the male is, for whatever reason, very different from me, I can not easily relate myself to the specific actions of the movie - and the appeal lessens as a direct consequence.
Are you similar?

To be honest, insertables really don't hold much appeal for me.

Honestly? I rarely watch it because quite frankly...

My mind is creative enough that I don't need it.

I find it crude and ludicrous for the most part.

and

I personally don't care what other people do behind their own "closed doors." (I'm much more interested in what happens behind my own!)

I love porn, as in luvluvluvluvluvluvluvluvluvluvluvluvluvluv smut.
But I don't put myself in it. I see it as hawt, not interactive...that is, unless I'm starring in it

Neither. I don't watch porn. If I did I would probably feel more in tune with the submissive because well....that's my place and can relate. Otherwise I just find porn boring.

Protagonist/antagonist... I've only heard these terms referring to hero/villian situations.

I'm not sure which is which in a porn.

I assume protagonist means the one in power while antagonist is the sub, right?

I never understood imagery as porn but I thoroughly enjoy literature, as erotic discourse.

I thought everybody played the role in the movie. What else is it good for?

Oh. I wasn't thinking kinky Dom sub porn.

I think the protagonist would be the sub, and antagonist would be the Dom.

I guess.

It's kind of odd choice of words.

Anyway, I like to picture myself as the one jabbing at the other person.

~FRing it~

Well all I can say is that if you are going to mentally insert your mind in anything, make sure your brain wears a 'raincoat.' Dont want a bunch of little baby brains running around.

Awright. I had to look it all up fer' me self.

Conflict, Protagonist, Antagonist

Conflict: the opposition between forces in a story

Protagonist: the central character

Antagonist: whatever opposing force the protagonist struggles with, such as another character, environment, or something within the protagonist

Wouldn't the top be an antagonsist, since they are antagonizing the bottom with paddles/pokey items?

This doesn't work unless there's a central struggle, I think.

Dunno but I see it as the drama of a Master/slave relationship, where the conflict is kink while the central doer is the Dom/Domme, and the opposing force is the submissive character of the bottom.

What does that make me?
