Yes (or Rush)

Rush is the only one I like.

Is Yes considered prog, or even better, Porcupine Tree?

King Crimson... they lead the way. Their members branched off and continued to forge new ground. More talent in any of their little pinkies than the whole lot combined except Rush. Rush was good but not quite as flexible imo.

You mean given that Rush have kept making the same album over and over since the late '60s?
That could show a lack of flexibility, true enough.

Level: Yes are considered prog, but I consider them shit as well, so they're in option ten as this is my poll.

Rush, before "Power Windows". Everything since has been pretentious crap.

Peace and comfort,

Michael

I wonder if there's a libertarian block vote for Rush going on?
I should have included the Marxist prog band Hatfield and The North and put this poll in P&R, really...

Definitely King Crimson.

Why wasn't Yes considered as a choice?

Because I can't suffer Yes.
You'll be wanting me to include Genesis and Gentle Giant next, for Heaven's sake...

If you want Yes, vote for the shit, Ron. That's where I've put them.

My mistake: I thought it was the lack of Yes in the poll you were upset about.

If the poll were to be ensconsed on a gutwagon, I'd vote them in on the first detail.

And that great bleedin poofter can take wham with his ass as well.

Aye.   And I have besmirched myself, so to correct the oversight, I voted King Crimson.

Cracking band. Anybody who can listen to Red without their ears pricking up like an excited alsatian is most likely dead, and should shuffle off to the crematorium moaning "Brains!"
(That ain't just my opinion: it's a fact.)
