It is because the site owners are not findomme friendly and thus encourage their members not to be findomme friendly as well. The reason being either they don't believe money fetish to be an actual and legitimate kink or they believe that all findommes are scammers. Luckily I don't scare easily so hate mail gets blocked and deleted. .

Just out of curiousity...has anyone heard of a male findom? Yes, there are a few pro male doms out here that do openly practice financial domination. I know of 2 on this site.

Or do we just call them "pimps," still? No.

Hell, I don't even know of any pro male het doms. I know a several local het pro male doms and more het pro doms in the LA and Vegas area from when I lived out there. Several on on THIS site.

I've never seen anything that makes me think the site owners are not findomme friendly. Granted the terms of service do state that you aren't to use the site (which they provide free of charge) for personal profit, as poise pointed out. But that also applies to people wanting to promote their sex-toy shop or sell their poop or whatever else. And it appears they don't do anything to prevent people using their profiles and messaging system to ask for money. So I'd say the site if very friendly to findommes, since it allows them a place they can advertise for free and reach a large pool of potential subs.

As for the 'scammers' thing - if a lot of people ARE scamming by requesting amazon gift cards, why shouldn't the site warn against it? It's up to them. If it bothers the findommes they could find another way to accept their tributes so they don't get mistaken for scammers, or go to another site which doesn't have that warning.

As for the members, some do have issues, some don't. Some of the well-respected regulars are findommes of one variety or another, certainly a couple of my favourite posters are.

Huh? Aside from the banner saying DON'T SEND MONEY TO OTHER USERS FOR ANY REASON (which is frequently ignored), I haven't seen the site owners do anything favorable or unfavorable to finDommes. Some such as TheLilSquaw and MissAsylum, are regular posters here.

Plus they wouldn't have a professional board where pros and fins could post ads, link back or not.

It is my experience and also comparing it to other sites. It appears that proclaiming that you are into the findomme fetish churns stomachs around here and thus the hate messages and reporting ensues. While with other similar sites, it's ok to proudly claim your fetish in financial domination and whether people there like it or not, it is generally accepted and respected enough.

Having a banner across the site specifically warning adults against sending money or tributing someone they fancy (by their own free will of course) comes off as very targeted. I recognize that all sites are not created or managed equally so it's really no skin off of my back and those type of hate messages gets deleted anyway. Matter of fact, this is the only site that I have ever gotten hate messages (period) ... regardless of fetish affinity.

Oh I agree there are hate mails, and stomach churning, just look at the "legit form of d/s" thread. But I don't see that from the mods. I more so see it from spoiled lil men who have been hurt or just plain old bitter ass people. I'm a fin domme and every mod I've received golden letters from were never bc of it. It was usually bc of my mouth. Lol

Yeah, not quite. You're using a FREE website to advertise yourself and make a profit, without giving anything back to the website. I'd have an issue with that too.

I am not getting all this FREE wording that is being thrown around. I've been active on the internet and many forums and have never had to pay to join a site before. Everyone advertises their fetish and fancies in one way or the other online.... (shrugs)

Actually, I want to take a moment to say that BEFORE I joined this site I was very much AGAINST FinDomination. However, after reading some of the forums discussing it, I've actually become more accepting of it. The only real problem I have with it now is with the financial-DEPENDENTS (those females who have never been financially independent themselves, and NEED TO BE SUPPORTED FINANCIALLY TO SURVIVE---"Daddy, BUY me something, I don't have any money!") who are posing as DOMINANT women. In contrast a Dominant woman is self-supporting, doesn't NEED a man to survive financially, and often owns Her own home, cars, etc that She has purchased with Her OWN money, not money a man has given Her. She MANAGES Her financial sub's spending, and yes, punishes him by taking some of his money, but a good Dominant never strips Her sub of ALL his money, beyond what he can afford. There are some fin-Dommes on here who fit the latter description and are GOOD representatives of the fetish.

Whatever, that's MY say. You people can duke it out as you see fit.

So you think that "don't send money" banner which is used by the site to protect themselves legally should financial transactions don't turn out the way the person sends the money wants to, is a discrimination against your kink? I've heard of a lot of hair-brained crap about some things around here, but that one takes the cake. You do understand that the site *not* protecting itself in such a manner opens them to being liable the first time somebody sues for their money back when the transaction originated on this site?

As for members sending hate mail, that's the MEMBERS that think a particular kink is distasteful. I don't sit here and blame the site because another member thinks blood play is gross. Saying that this is the only site that has people who don't like the fin kink is complete bullshit. Considering how many members here are also members on various other sites and how common the distaste for fin kink generally is, a person would have to have their head in the sand to think this is the only site where people speak out against it.

Your purple font or indirect insults does not negate my opinion and experiences. The fact is this is the only site that I have ever receive hate mail from regardless of the type of forum it is.
Also far as the site legally protecting themselves from litigation then I can certainly understand that and am not here to lead a crusade to have them change their TOS, just stated my observation and experience with this site thus far.

Hey, if you felt you were indirectly insulted because a simple legal protection for the site that darn near anybody with any business sense would understand was pointed out to you, I can't help you there. As for the purple font, don't feel special. I've been using it for six years.
