I have a lot of nude pictures on FL. Not because I want people to admire my sexy body. I'm not egotistical enough to think that I have one. They're just about all pictures taken during scenes. They're there to give some idea of things that I have done and things that I like to do.

It's entirely possible being comfortable in your own skin while reserving modesty. Sure, most of the people posting them are probably comfortable with their body, but I doubt that's the reason behind physically posting them for most. Sex does sell. Quickly. People are marketing themselves and trying to use their best means of marketing. To work quickly. Is that not quick attention? For people only interested in a play partner, why wouldn't they want to market the necessary parts? Is that not quick love?
