I dont want to kill terrorists, I want to capture all of them, put them in large buildings with giant TV's, force them to watch non stop reality tv, feed em taco bell and laxatives and prune juice, and have all the doors to the bathrooms on time locks so they unlock at random intervals for thirty seconds at a time.

I am rather perplexed about some of the post here. Some have posted on other threads how they feel the government is taking away "their" rights, however it appears to me that these same people seem to care little if nothing about others having their right taken. If anyone had read the article, it states that a government offical can order the death of if they "believe" the person is a member of a “senior operational leaders” of al-Qaida or “an associated force even if there is no intelligence indicating they are engaged in an active plot to attack the U.S, nothing about any evidence of such. Regardless of what a US Citizen is accused of doing, the bill or rights protects him or her and as pointed out must be found guilty in a court of law by 12 peers, not some government bureacrat. The document tends continue to say this is legal under the rules of war, to my knowledge, we are not at war, Congress has yet to declare one.

What exactly does that have to do with it?  I do not support anything 'republicans' have done including the repeal of Glass-Stegall, the gutting of oversight agencies, the belligerent stance around the world, craven corporate capitulation and welfare,  and so on, but it is law of the land.  And this appears to be in keeping in spirit and letter with that constitutional declaration of war on terror which still stands.

And it is very disingenuous for the 'journalist' to use the secretive and whatever phrases, cuz it aint, and if it was meant to be, it is the worst kept secret in the world, since we have used drones to cakk some 30 or more al-queda terrorists since Obama was elected.

Public Laws 107-40 and 107-243 were bestowed upon us by the teabagger congress, but now they are against it after they were for it.

Seems to me that it is the ineptitude of congress should be at issue here.

Cuz them teabaggers are fuckin USELESS and INEPT.

It is my understanding that the drones are operated by the CIA.
