MAINEiacMISTRESS -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/6/2013 7:42:35 PM)

I'm 5'2" female and don't care about a man's height. My husband is barely 5'8". Height was never an issue when we were dating; we were friends and it just developed from there. We've been married over two decades so we must have SOMETHING right. As for basic attractiveness, there have been taller men (6'6") I was attracted to, and men who were shorter than Me as well. I once had a thing for David Rappaport (the gang leader in "Time Bandits"), R.I.P. ...and I knew a guy in real life who was only about 4'6" tall (dark hair, bright blue eyes, and a nicely trimmed beard) whom I thought was attractive. Aside from temperament and personality, "size-wise" the major deciding factor for Me is, for want of a better term, TOUGHNESS and "FUNCTIONALITY"...this counts for guy-friends and subs as well, since I'm all set in the romance department. A man can be short but still be a tough, fix/lift/carry/build, get down to business type guy...and I find this type of personality fun to be around since they can keep up with Me...but if a man is squeamish and delicate (OMG, I just got mud on my shoe, Mom's going to be so mad!) I find that type of person "draining" and "high maintenance" so I will cross him off--even as a friend--no matter how "gorgeous" he is. (Well, unless the mud is on his pink Mary Janes that I told him not to get dirty. That's another matter entirely!) --MM
