I'm not attracted to short men so as I said on the other thread you got this from, yes I do use height to decide. I never said I don't use physical traits to weed out men. I do. But I also find showing your genitals is just plain old tacky. I would find someone showing their dirty home or a middle finger to be just as tacky and crude. And yeah, once they are undressed and we're having sex, I would take his cock into consideration also. But I REALLY don't want to see it until that point. Leave something to the imagination guys! I mean, really. [8|]

I didn't vote in the OP's poll at all, for the simple reason that I think even bringing up this question requires someone with a shallow mind.

Having a preference isn't shallow. It's just what you enjoy.

I'm 5'3". I have dated taller than me (significantly taller) and guys a little shorter than me.

My preference, through experience, is that I like a man a little taller than me, but not too tall.

More than 6 feet makes me feel uncomfortable - I feel like half of an 'odd couple.

I prefer a man to be several inches taller than me - Master is 5'9" and that's pretty much perfect. We can walk side by side without looking like 'little and large'. I can face him and talk to his face without getting a stiff neck :)

I admit I lie and say I am 5'4" but I am really more like 5'3-1/2".. [:D] I love tall guys, my ex was 6' but being with someone as tall as 6'4" is great! I am a little shrimp (athough not as shrimpy as you.. [:D]) but being with tall guys makes me feel like I am protected (smaller guys arent as intimidating to others).. I liked to put my hand against his and see how small mine were, the difference is what I liked.. I liked that even with high heels he was still taller than me.. and taller guys can lift a small girl easier and do those kinky positions a shorter guy cant.. and I love having to stand on my tippy-toes and reeeeeeach to give him a kiss.. and cuddling me, his arms would feel so big and good around me.. it makes me feel all subby and feminine and that he will take care of me, I feel safe..

I have dated guys that were not that tall, about 5'7" but its not quite the same feeling..

Its no good being hung like a horse if you fuck like a one legged mule.
I like men of all heights
I like men of all sizes
I like men of all penile length if they know how to use their brains, fingers, tongue and tool together.
However cock shots are not needed

MAINEiacMISTRESS -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/6/2013 7:42:35 PM)

I'm 5'2" female and don't care about a man's height.

My husband is barely 5'8". Height was never an issue when we were dating; we were friends and it just developed from there. We've been married over two decades so we must have SOMETHING right. As for basic attractiveness, there have been taller men (6'6") I was attracted to, and men who were shorter than Me as well. I once had a thing for David Rappaport (the gang leader in "Time Bandits"), R.I.P. ...and I knew a guy in real life who was only about 4'6" tall (dark hair, bright blue eyes, and a nicely trimmed beard) whom I thought was attractive.

Aside from temperament and personality, "size-wise" the major deciding factor for Me is, for want of a better term, TOUGHNESS and "FUNCTIONALITY"...this counts for guy-friends and subs as well, since I'm all set in the romance department. A man can be short but still be a tough, fix/lift/carry/build, get down to business type guy...and I find this type of personality fun to be around since they can keep up with Me...but if a man is squeamish and delicate (OMG, I just got mud on my shoe, Mom's going to be so mad!) I find that type of person "draining" and "high maintenance" so I will cross him off--even as a friend--no matter how "gorgeous" he is. (Well, unless the mud is on his pink Mary Janes that I told him not to get dirty. That's another matter entirely!)

theRose4U -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/6/2013 8:11:14 PM)

I like tall, minimum of 6 ft so I can look them in the eye in heels. Ironically the tallest man I ever dated at 6'11 had literally the tiniest penis I have ever seen on an adult!! Full erect length was 4in by 1/2in on a good day with a stiff wind (not even a handful). Just further proof steroids WILL shrink your junk perminantly

MadameM4U -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/6/2013 8:26:13 PM)

I am 5'3" and the shortest person in my family of 5 siblings with my sisters being 5'7" and 6'0" and my three brothers all being over 6'2". I have dated men from 5'4" to 6'8" and find I prefer my partner to be 6'0" because spooning seems to work out perfectly with a partner of that height.

However, my current boy toy is only 5'7" and I don't see myself trading him in for someone taller.

I agree with the previous posters in that when a man in kneeling in front of me it really doesn't matter how tall he is when he stands up and it certainly doesn't matter when we are horizontal.

muhly22222 -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/7/2013 6:03:58 AM)

I can't say that I've ever dated a woman taller than me. Of course, being 6'1", taller women aren't exactly everywhere you turn. That being said, I've certainly been attracted to women who were taller than me (volleyball and basketball players especially -- I kind of have a thing for athletes).

But every girl I've dated has been significantly shorter than me, at least 6 inches. So height isn't really a consideration.

needlesandpins -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/7/2013 12:56:58 PM)

tall for me. i'm 5'6 and prefer men around 6' but preferably over that. men close to my height these days do nothing for me.

i don't see this as shallow because it's not something a person can change like weight. still it's a preference as with anything else.

Shininglight23 -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/7/2013 2:58:21 PM)

I voted that I strongly prefer taller men. My current Mister is over 6' and I'm 5'4. I have dated a man who was 6'8"-- that was challenging but loads of fun. :)

My most successful relationship (besides my current of course) was with a man who was only a few inches taller than me. It was a little odd at first, but he made up for his short stature in other ways. I prefer masculine men (not macho) and he was very much a mans man.

I'm hoping to not have to deal with the dating world for quite some time, but when I do.. Height will only be a small portion of my decision.

You seem to think it's hypocritical to not want to get into a relationship with a guy who does not turn us on. It isn't.

If you wouldn't walk down the street waving your willie at women, you shouldn't do it online. It's just as offensive.

And just like I wouldn't date you if you were drunk or high, I wouldn't do so if I'm not attracted to you.

I like a man between 5'11" and 6'1". But calling it a preference makes it seem as though I can prefer a guy 5'3 or 6'10. I can't anymore than I can prefer to like women sexually. I have very narrow parameters of what I need in a partner. And I was happily celibate for 5 years when I couldn't find a partner who ticked all my boxes.

xLaChienne -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/8/2013 9:17:47 PM)

I have a lot of aesthetic preferences. One of them is for a man to be taller than Me.

Looks are important. Looks get you in the door, personality keeps you welcome. I'm not going to see your personality first and no matter how great of a personality you have, I can't fuck it.

On CM I will not engage with men romantically who do not fit My aesthetic preferences. Of those who do, I won't engage with men romantically who do not have a compatible personality.

It's a combination of the two, always. For some it is skewed more toward personality, for others it is more toward aesthetics. For Me, it is the right mix of the two but I will admit I lean toward personality.

However, I can be friendly to anyone.

LadyRedRoseToo -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/9/2013 12:17:03 AM)

I think theRose4u and I dated the same guy. really big guy, but when the pants came off I thought he'd had a transplant from a toddler! that was when I decided that I wasn't going to even consider a guy's height anymore. several years spent with a man who was six inches shorter than I am would have been a horrible thing to have missed out on.

sexyred1 -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/9/2013 12:24:25 AM)

I am 5'7". I like short and tall guys.

I seem to end up with guys around my height or a little taller.

I don't care as long as they can manhandle me. :)

Akrotiri -> RE: Do women care if a man is tall or short when deciding to collar mail him? (2/22/2013 7:22:24 AM)

Women universally go for men taller than they are. Cock typically doens't matter.
