Very true, but I think it's a reflex. New fin-dommes (the bratty, princess variety) stroll in here thinking that they know everything, and then become extremely rude and defensive if someone challenges their ridiculousness. Fair exchange isn't robbery. However, I concur that sometimes I (not going to speak for others) am harsh on what I consider wanking threads, trolls, and fin-dommes looking to attract folks to their profiles for the sake of making money. quote:

Honestly, most folks here treated her with kid gloves. Having posted here over the last few months, I can assure you that people were just trying to be helpful. A lot of us are in committed relationships (of the monogamous and polyamorous variety) and tried to help her see the flaws in her profile rather than just poke fun. Believe me, you ain't seen snark yet! It's true that some were trying to be helpful at first. However, I have to say, I do feel that older (and many times even just *slightly* older) femdoms (especially) can be very harsh on young newbie femdoms. What's that all about? Is it down to such a newbie making femdoms as a group look bad? Are they concerned for the safety and well-being of said newbie's (potential) sub/s? Are there considerations of responsibilities for a dominant that I, as a sub, don't have to think about? Or might this be one of those occasions where women think, 'Bugger off Peon, we women will deal with silly girls who don't yet know how to be grown up women'? I don't know. Weren't we all young, silly twats once? I know I was. In fact many say that I've 'managed to preserve a very youthful outlook', even now (that's an example of how middle class Brits insult each other).
