Eh, throw caution to the wind. Just go ballz to the wall and be a rebel! :)

breagha -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/10/2013 6:11:37 PM)

i did an intro post when i decided that i might want to post here. i ghosted for a few months. i currently don't have a profile on the other side. just an account that i can send messages from if i need/want to. i just log in now to read the posts in forum and post my two cents if i feel i have something to contribute.

i think that some of the newer alias' ( me included here ) read posts here and maybe get intimidated. people are not used to being told exactly what someone thinks. ( going back to my "brutal honesty" post ) and here... that is what you get. a plethora of information from people of all personality types.

i tend to like it here " on this side " for that exact reason.

Sorry, I have to charge extra for ballz to the wall.

Lol!

littlewonder -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/10/2013 6:44:18 PM)

When someone just says "hi" to me on the other side, I usually, if I'm feeling extremely bored, will respond with "hello. Is there something I can help you with?". Again, they either never respond back or they write back with their fantasies. At that point I either just laugh and delete or the fun begins. [sm=evil.gif]

lmpishlilhellcat -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/10/2013 6:45:42 PM)

I get a lot of penis pictures. Sometimes I really have to try hard to be nice and just hit delete.

tommonymous -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/10/2013 7:13:38 PM)

I really prefer life as a man. Sure, no free drinks or crying my way out of parking tickets or getting laid just because I feel like it, but I think all in all life's easier for us. (I don't mean that to sounds chauvinist, but maybe it is anyway. If so, I'll stick by it...)

EsotericLady -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/10/2013 7:17:35 PM)

Me too. But I guess we've been told, eh?

Esoteric, it's easy to figure out. They say "hi" you write back "hi". They write back "so you busy tonight?". You write back "not really. Just hanging out on the forums. If you wanna join us feel free. It's pretty a pretty fun place". Then you look at their profile. That pretty much says it all. And guess what? They either never write back after you say that or they write back with something that I mentioned.

And here I always assumed they were just being polite!

I prefer being a woman. I've never had any kind of interest in doing what men do and I've never seen their lives easier or harder. I see they have their own issues just as women do. It's not more or less on either side. It's simply just different issues. Men can come to get some things easier because they are men. Men find life to be tougher in other areas.

EsotericLady -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/10/2013 7:20:52 PM)

I noticed on the other message board too.
I almost got my house burned down for using the wrong terminology here. LOL

Speaking for myself, I don't want to run afoul of the norms and protocols on the message boards. I enjoy reading them, but on a different message board they pretty much crucified a poster who used the term "shemale". Message boards might be fun if you're an expert, but not for novices. Just my opinion.

EsotericLady -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/10/2013 7:26:59 PM)

With some of the things that are being said about "the other side," I'm beginning to wonder if the "other side" is where I think it is...
namely the chat rooms on this site vs the forums?

Definitely. We each have our unique "stuff" (good and bad). I'd rather deal with ours than yours, but I understand that opinions will vary.

littlewonder -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/10/2013 8:16:11 PM)

when I talk about the "other side", I'm talking about emails.

SinFix -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/11/2013 3:35:47 AM)

Most of us call the collarme part that houses the profiles "the other side", this side is collarchat.

Thank you, SinFix! : )

hello can be the hardest word to say here!

Hello.

Nah, that was easy. What seems to be hard is adding enough to that to make the other person feel like saying "hello" back.

Bye

Or keep em dangling for two bleeping years!

Meanwhile, Hi. Wanna fuck? Tonight? Now?
Kewl.
Be there in five.

Notsweet -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (2/15/2013 4:18:26 PM)

FR-- I think a lot of people really enjoy what they call "honesty," when they really just like being mean.

On the other side, if someone irritates me, I LOVE being mean.

MistressChiara -> RE: Folk that say Hi on this side (3/4/2013 2:21:03 AM)

While yes I did say hello in the Introduce Yourself section, I love reading through the forums and contribute when I feel I have something useful to say. I've been here just for a short couple of weeks, but am looking forward to participating in the forums as often as possible.
