Having come from a very similar history (child abuse, etc etc) I think I understand now what you're talking about ... I don't really have any advice to give though because I'm still all kinds of screwed up myself. I hope she gets better ... She's lucky to have you.

MY favorite number for 20 odd plus years has been 113. A really good Dom spent some time with me last week. He roped me and made me look at myself. I hated it. I am overweight and had had some really upsetting things said to me about it, He wanted me to feel beautiful. But no matter how much I looked, I could not see it. I hated looking.

He also put in a spider gag and opened my mouth as I have been so frightened of them, I suppose it was to make me familiar with things. But when I looked into the mirror, my own image actually frightened me.

The whole thing made me realise that I have some pretty engrained body issues and imagery issues.

If He is reading this, thanks my learned angel, it really helped.

Weird or what.
