Indeed - the group is already actively raising the baby, Rick isn't involved at all. There have only been 2 shots of him actually engaged with her, and now that he's in la la land, I imagine it will be a while before he comes back around.
That person who dropped off the zombies, I kinda thought it might be Milton. The Gov asked him if he would take a bullet for him, and Milton isn't the most sizable of folks at Woodbury. Plus, the way he was all armored up, while the rest of them are just cavalier in their everyday clothes.

But we didn't see where that person went or what happened to him/her. That'll be interesting. ^_^

I dunno if Glen will take over, I think right now he's raging and operating in a vacuum. Rick is gone and Darryl was gone - with Darryl back, he and Glen will probably work together, but if Rick comes back from the brink, I dunno if Glen will keep the same momentum. I think he's doing what he feels like he has to do.

I think right now, Glen is being torn up inside because HE couldn't protect the woman he loves. HE feels responsible for her and what the gov did to her. I think she blames him on some level too.

Is it me or does Daryl's name for the baby rocks?
I think the name lil ass kicker fits considering the circumstances.

I agree, that Glen and Daryl will work together to protect / lead the group.

Can y'all believe I just watched this for the first time tonight? Damn, I have shit internet access due to My location so trying to watch shows via the internet isn't always successful to catch the back episodes. I need to find a way to read up on the back storyline of how it all came to this point. (While I appreciate the link to the comic series, usually there is a difference between a tv series based on a written form.)

The make-up on the zombies and props is pretty darn good. That definitely caught My eye.

Anybody got background links for the series so I can be up to date?

I think it's so sweet that Ricks son got a picture of his mom for Lil Ass Kicker.

I was happy to see Morgan, but I was hoping he would be someone who could come back with them. Alas, he's a nut ball. But maybe, now that he knows Rick is alive, maybe he can at least not feel totally alone.
Of course we all know Rick did turn his radio on, but eventually he got out of range. It's like Morgan must've turned his radio on right when Rick was heading out.

Hooray for LadyP watching TWD! ^_^ You can catch up a bit watching the black-n-white replays that come on on Thursdays, but they're not exactly right at the beginning at this point.

Thanks, Lilly! I noticed the commercials saying the black and white version was running but I wasn't sure how far into the story those were. I'll definitely have a look through those links!

they're a little ways in, but still in season one. there's some great stuff in the episodes you've missed, but they do marathons every now and again, at the end or beginning of the next season, usually. :)

Well the guv is indisputably off his nut, the whole thing is looking a lot like Postman at this point, so me personally, I'd go with the mere morally conflicted rather than the psychotic break, but then I'm weird that way.

Plus, the hot sistah with the Katana is hard to beat, I'd stick around just for that.

Ok.... I haven't read any posts on this thread; I've got almost every episode dvr'd, and am on #5.

I DO know some of what's coming :-( , that Shane and Lori have bad mojo coming, and that Merle makes a reappearance.... I gotta get caught up!

To be fair, Tyreese and pals haven't seen how messed up the Governator really is. They saw a glimpse of it, with the goings-on at the walker pit, and they resisted. I have a feeling they won't be sticking with the Gov in the final fight. Rick went off his rocker and was screaming and waving a gun. The Gov smiled at them and shook their hands and loooooks totally collected and organized, but he is notoriously charming and an ace at hiding his nuttiness from sunlight. =p But things are out of his control, and it's going to get harder and harder for him to hide things. I wonder if Tyreese will stumble across Andrea?

I'm actually kind of surprised they killed off Merle, and I'm kind of bummed.
I was hoping he was going to save Andrea, but that'd be too easy. I'm guessing Michonne will save her.
So, is the group going to attack the governor's town while he attacks the prison?

Wow! THAT was in intense scene when Daryl killed his brother's zombie. My heart broke for Daryl and little does he realize that Merle came around and did the right thing.
