Today we got chocolates, Moët,and diamond heart necklaces. Then hubby took us out to dinner to our fav. Indian restaurant. What about you guys?

Pop-eyes chicken, dessert and chocolate covered strawberries from a local bakery - and did i mention that he gave me an engagement ring? There was no way i was going near a restaurant on Valentines day - that would be hard core masochistic.

I thought I would just be babysitting, but instead, the son, girlfriend, grandchild and new fur baby came over, and my son cooked dinner for us! Pleasantly surprised.

Awww...Congrats, kiwi! Me and the pet went to Napa, bought hella wine and stumbled around tipsy for the first half of the day, took a ferry back to SF, ate at a spectacular restaurant on the pier and did some shopping at Victoria's Secret. (BTW, they got a kick ass sale happening on lotions and cheekies!) Then, we returned to the hotel and did some serious boot knockin'. We definitely fell asleep early like an old married couple and he's snoring right besides me. So sad he'll be back to London in a few hours :(

CONGRATS KIWI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a double date, fiance and myself, along with my friend (calling her "B") and her boyfriend who plays football with my fiance. We were supposed to go to a steak house, but it was a 2 hour wait. Fuck that. For those who are in/been to Maryland, we went to the Maryland Live Casino and ate at Bobby Flay's "Bobby's Burger Palace". I was apprehensive since the reviews on yelp were less than stellar. However, I think the reviewers were thinking "Oooo Bobby Flay! Must be amazing!", so the expectations may have been too high, as everybody compared it to McDonald's, Wendy's, or Five Guys. We all enjoyed our food, and I (over)enjoyed my margarita. Went to the casino. We didn't strike big, but B and I won back all the money spent yesterday, and were up by a couple of dollars at the end of the night. This was my first time at a casino, so I guess breaking even is good lol. No sex involved unfortunately, as neither my fiance or myself can stay awake past 11pm. All in all, a good night.

Started out the day exchanging kisses and cards, after work I made a special dinner and we shared a bottle of champagne. Somehow, I managed to avoid buying a huge cheesecake of a strawberry shortcake (I was strong). I usually get flowers, but we're saving our pennies for a trip.

Where are you planning on going CP? We are thinking of going to Cali to visit comicon, not set in stone but leaning more towards yes. When I see Eric from true blood, I'll kidnap him for us. (I think some of y'all might remember that thread lol)

We are going to the Seattle area for a big family reunion to celebrate Mom's (Himself's Mom) 80th birthday. Every day we learn more and more people are coming. Will be a great party.

Kiwi, congrats! Okay, it sounds really silly.... he found a place that makes the closest thing to Connecticut style grinders that I've had in CA, so he took me to lunch. For dinner, we went to a gourmet burger place and then an estate auction. Not exactly what most would consider a great day, but I loved it.

Well, firstly, I'm not lucky enough to live with my man yet, so I got back from work at around 7 in the morning, said a hello to my youngest daughter as she was getting ready for school, and then went off to bed until the afternoon. When I got up, I chatted to my man online for a while before getting ready to go to see my brother. Catching up with him as I hadn't seen him since before Christmas was great, and even though his missus and her nosiness about my relationship ("when is he going to move in with you?") pissed me off, I was still glad I'd gone to see him. I'd already had a lovely card from my man when he was here the weekend before, so having another read of the wonderful stuff he wrote in it before going to bed definitely cheered me up a bit. As for a gift, I might be getting one this weekend, but we'll see... [8D]
