In chatting online when yahoo chat used to exist, there was ALWAYS Indian men looking for kinky sex with other guys. Not sure about female submissives. I'm guessing the idea of casual sex is still fairly new there. But I know for sure there are tons of horny BDSM guys looking for play in India.

well... hello

i think, BDSM is fairly underground in India... and everyone who thinks that India is sexually repressed is actually correct.

Having said that, India is a large country and there are many people who do live an alternate lifestyle... but a vast majority has no clue about it.

But BDSM aside, sex in general is looked down upon. It happens, i mean look at the population for crying out loud, but it is not something to be talked about openly. We dont have sex education as a subject in our schools. Which is a shame cause really people suffer from the lack of information when it comes to sex.

On 2 July 2009, the Delhi High Court decriminalised homosexual intercourse between consenting adults, and this new stand of decriminalisation is applicable throughout the territory of India. This is according to wikipedia who footnotes back to

Kusum Ingots v. Union of India, (2004) 6 SCC 254: "An order passed on a writ petition questioning the constitutionality of a Parliamentary Act, whether interim or final, keeping in view the provisions contained in Clause (2) of Article 226 of the Constitution of India, will have effect throughout the territory of India subject of course to the applicability of the Act."

True. But as of now the order has been challenged and it is in supreme court. So AS OF NOW...homosexuality is still a crime in INDIA.

Also, at the time when the Delhi HC decriminalized homosexuality (the act of sex between to males;being gay is fine in India but having sex with men is not...go figure) many people believed that the order can only be applicable in the state of Delhi and not in other Indian states as India is a federal democracy.

Heh. I was only trying to help him out. And I won't slam anybody for text speak, although I hate it. If you're doing this from a phone, sometimes you have to under certain plans. And I'm little bit of a stickler about the rules of a board, even though I've bent a few myself here. For a short time I was suckered into modding on another board, until I got tired of spending half of my time online dealing with playground slap fights.

I was kind of hoping bulldelhi would revisit this thread for one thing: if you can't find a BDSM community in your country ready-made, create one. Use the tools and advice that can be found right here, start your own real-time group. Have munches and social functions that you can tailor to your own tastes and needs. Apparently, you're dwelling in a fertile territory for just this kind of things.

Relax. Think. Plan. By doing so, you'd be in a better position to find what you're seeking.

Hmm my landlord is an indian guy who beats his wife, that kinda counts... daddy gave her a crowbar. And once on a plane I was sitting next to a guy on a transfer from india and he noticed my collar and stuck his hand up my skirt... but I don't think he was the type to ever try that a second time. Those are the only people I've known from india.

first up, i would like to express my complete disappointment with this:

i dont know when you did your last update on india, it seems somewhere around 50 years ago. also , i would not be surprised if this dazzling opinion came from never having visited the country or observing ground truths, but is a mere echo of what media chooses to feed us.

apologies OP, i would have replied far sooner and added some ethnic variety to your barrage of replies from people who seem at least 3000 km away. personally i am 4500 km away for a week. hello to my fellow brothers for standing up for a couple of genuine reasons. and hello Steven :)

i agree with the other observations:

1. kink and sexuality are still yet to be accepted as "normal" in India. repression is pretty rampant.
2. homosexuality is illegal
3. female abuse is a problem, but i am very sure this is no less true in many other parts of the world
4. casual sex is rare, and possibly rather restricted to the bigger metropolitan cities (that too certain sections of the society only)

it is hard to find someone genuine in india who lives the lifestyle. this is perhaps because so little is understood about it, and is in general regarded as a criminal activity. labels of the ignorant.

that being said, in its true form i absolutely dont think there are any lack of kinksters in india, in fact we perhaps have more than the population of a reasonably-sized country. i have had the rare fortune of running up against a few of them. but it came with a lot of patience and perseverance.
