A review of five top recipients of Lifeline support conducted by the FCC for the Journal showed that 41% of their more than six million subscribers either couldn't demonstrate their eligibility or didn't respond to requests for certification.

OR didn't respond.

Why would someone not respond? Umm maybe because they were homeless, or moved and didnt leave a forwarding address.

You seem to have attended the same math comprehension schools as Comic Con boy.

OK, one ignorant person called it an "Obamaphone" on youtube.

Status: offline 		The cancer is because of right wingers who would rather deny lawful benefits to people who qualify.

The fact is that the phone is an absolutely essential aspect of life and if you want people getting jobs and getting off "welfare" they need phones.

Now why do people who don't qualify have phones? Because the companies that provide the service cannot have the application included in the application or renewal of benefits conducted by the various agencies involved. Instead they get addresses from those agencies and mail out the application.

Stop the hysteria. Call things what they are instead of by what some far right or left pundit called them.
When someone tells a pack of lies or repeats falsehoods to promote a political agenda, it frequently backfires.
That's what has hurt the Republican party over the past 2 decades and if they don't stop, they're likely to die altogether as a political force and that will leave us well and truly fucked.
Even FOX realizes it. That's why they're eliminating a few of their so-called 'controversial commentators'.

No, they weren't controversial. They were fucking liars but weak minded, ignorant people flocked to them in droves.

Murdoch has figured it out and he didn't get to be one of the hundred or so richest in the world by being stupid.
