Status: offline 		What is it with some submissives (or self-proclaimed slaves) who write to you asking to "chat" and when you tell them politely that you are not interested and why you don't believe you are compatible in first place, they freak out and simply can't handle it? Makes you wonder. I suppose, that is exactly what happens to some subs ... but does that make us even?

Status: offline 		It's not just with subs, it's with some Doms as well.I used to be polite in rejecting people but they are so immature that they can't accept rejection in an adult manner. That is why, I've given up with the polite reply. Now I just don't reply back when I'm not interested. It is those people that ruin it for others that truly deserve an explanation just as common coutesy. I

Is that kinda the same thing you're finding?

Maybe it's the same people playing both sides of the board

On a serious note. This reaction is not orientation specific. And to be honest the question has been asked a few hundred thousand times. But what the hell, may as well ask it just one thousand more times *s*

Status: offline 		this is a dating board.  maybe your not compatiable at first reading.. but the other person must be attracted to you for some reason.. so when feelings hurt by your rejection of course this may cause some inital shock..

your really faced with either quickly rejecting someone Or taking a test drive.. chat with them a bit and see what their deal is.. I think email is the worst way to meet anyone.. because its a one-sided conversation. profiles can be misleading and are not always truthful. so until you chat on IM or go to phone.. you really don't know the person.

Status: offline 		I never go im until after a few emails are exchanged first because nine times out of ten it is simply somebody looking for wank material.

It is not only subbies i've gotten the same reaction from doms too, i think no one likes to be rejected. We are adults here though and they need to accept your lack of interest and get over it, this is not Jr. High.

Status: offline 		The answer is fairly simple, and it applies whether you are talking about submissives or dominants that behave this way.  Many who seek out this lifestyle are only interested in fulfilling their own personal fantasy.  They have not really considered the fact that that will include another person who has their own desires and interests.  They are so selfishly focused on only what they want, that when someone rejects the, they throw a tantrum.  It is very childish and immature behavior.

There's nothing wrong with any of us having a fantasy or three.  There's nothing wrong with wanting it fulfilled.  But where maturity shows, is in the ability to accept that others may not share those fantasies, and that that is okay.

Sir no offense but there are times that a profile tells a person real fast if its a possible match. A few examples I'm fat if you do not like fat women then guess what we are not compatible. I'm collared, guess I'm not even looking for a dom. You have a pack of camels in the pic with you and yellowed teeth I can assume that you are a smoker, if smokeing is a deal breaker your not a match. I see pics of subs and dominants that are very cluttered in the background as a sub I would not want a dominant that is too lazy to clean up after themself as a dominant a sub whose house is a pigsty would probably not improve. So there are times when a profile sings loud and clear that this person is not compatiable.
