My rewards usually aren't kink based. If they have been saving up for something, I try to get whatever it is. Spend a hot night out on the town or do something that takes away some issue. While subs seem to live for stuff like queening, it really does nothing for me. I've heard the arguements for oral in this position & frankly can't stand it

Yes, I've given a sub the option of choosing his own reward. He did not push sex on me, since anyone who knows me sexually will know that being pushed into sex is a deal breaker. I've also been given the option of choosing my own reward. I picked 'professional massage' on one occasion and 'shopping spree' on another.

I'm not much on rewards. I don't want a relationship based on "you do x and then you can have y". I want him to want to do nice things for me simply because he loves me, or he thinks I'm having a bad day and need to be cheered up. Master used to ask me this but got tired of hearing either "whatever you want" or "spend time with me". Now he just knows the things I like so it's just no longer even a question he asks. I tend to agree with the idea that the reward needs to be non-sexual in nature. I don't believe that sex is a reward per se, rather it is a necessary facet in both the Dom and sub's lives. If anything, I feel that it would undermine the dynamic between the two interested parties if from the onset of the relationship, there was a clear give/take, action/reward standard, even if it is only implicit. That being said, personally, I like rewarding subs with something a little more covertly self-serving. For instance, I would arrange for a full treatment at a spa (body scrub, massage, facial, mani/pedi). She looks awesome so I feel awesome and she feels awesome because she looks awesome wins for everyone involved!
