If you're paying them, by definition, they're a pro.

The only place I know that had pro-subs has been closed for awhile.

The Los Angeles area has a huge community. There's a very active NextGen group in OC and lots of other events and chances to meet people.

Hi all. . Thanks for the great responses. . .You sent me off in some good directions!

For info, the folks who have said go to parties/munches/etc., I hear you and I get it. . . BUT that's not what I am looking for. . The financial piece takes the courtship piece somewhat out of it, makes the negotiation more clear, and I just don't have time. .

As a person who has a number of casual play partners, I can assure you that isn't necessarily how it works. If you're a good top, that doesn't have to be a part of the deal.

If you are just starting out and don't have a reputation within the community, I'd like to offer you another suggestion. Find workshops that are teaching basic 101 classes that encourage participation. This can give you a chance to get to know other folks who aren't partnered who are interested in the activity.

I have seen some "ladies" getting spanked at kink parties in Northridge. But you have to pay $35.00 just to enter the place, and then there might not be any 'ladies' for you to spank. The 'ladies' who get paid to spank were mostly actually GUYS dressed as women. So unless you see them naked from the front you might be paying to spank a "lady" but it is really a guy's ass that you are spanking.

Hmmm. . I hear ya, sometimes spankings can just be that. . However relationships, at least the way I like to do them, no matter how casual, do require a modicum of courtship.

I understand your suggestion about the workshops. . I don't have the time to put into that. . I am also not new to spanking, just new to the idea of hiring a spankee. .

Yeah, you've clearly never been to a Shadowlane event.......

Shadowlane is a spanking enthusiast groups. Their parties don't usually contain more than "Hi, my name is" as a courtship. But, hey, you don't have time to even check it out......

Actually, if I was not in an open marriage I would be MUCH more concerned about showing my face on the internet then at an event.

I am all for people going to munches and events but they are not for everyone for many reasons other than they are cheating on their spouse. There are many people who simply don't like to group environment especially for "play".
