I did not have a radio that could pick up the r&b songs so
I listen to everything, Mr tambourine Man to tom Jones

Once in junior high lol the loud speaker said "Tom Jones come to the office!

Every girl looked so shocked, the teacher said " no not that Tom Jones"

Every single song by Neil Diamond.

"And no one heard at all; not even the chair."

He has some good tunes.

I'm thinking you know the lyrics by heart to more than a few of his songs [:D]

Hey, I like both of those songs, and I don't care who knows it. [:D]

However, there is one song I'm a bit embarrassed to say that I like: Sunshine Day by The Brady Bunch

I forgot the songs everyone makes fun of me for!

It's Raining Men by The Weather Girls

Take your pick, but The Village People will get you dancing!

I'm not embarassed that I like Peter Allen's Rio de Janiero, but I wonder if I'm the only one in the world that does like it.

I spent all day listening (happily & willingly) to Barry Mannilow"s Greatest Hits...my darkest secret is now posted here for posterity.

~FR~
I'm not embarrassed to like lots of cheesy 70's soft rock (Afternoon Delight, Copacabana, anything by ABBA, etc) that I probably should be embarrassed by but I am extremely ashamed to like some of the saccarine pop-country crap that's made these days (Lady Antebellum, etc.). Anything by Little Big Town is extremely embarrassing but, gawd, their harmonies are great. I particularly love the music to this one:

I've never heard of that song before but I found it on YouTube and I like it.

Actually, I like and listen to most of the songs on this thread.
I'm starting to think I should never, ever, under any circumstance, let anyone see my playlists.

RemoteUser -> RE: Songs you are embarrassed you like. (2/22/2013 7:38:57 PM)

I don't think it's possible for me to feel embarrassed, but I can think of at least one song I like that might get me a few curious looks.

How sweet and simple that is.

No fear, dear, I LOVE Copacabana!

I love Little Big Town! No embarrassment whatsoever.

If someone found my iPod, they'd think I was schizophrenic. It starts at Beethoven and Mozart and ends goes up to Mumford and Sons, with everything in between.
