JLF--

1) I don't do handsome stud.
2) Six dogs? Six? And you just know they find a way to get wet. Well....ok, I can deal. No, I can't. I'm cat and cat-sized dog people.
3) Roll over.
4) I've never seen it, so I don't really understand the appeal.
5) I don't go to movies either. And the kind where you can meet people...well, PeeWee Herman. That's all I need to know.
6) There's pool tables? Can ya hook me up with somebody who doesn't have six dogs??
7) I'm a really good cook. I don't need no stinkin' restaurant.
8) I dated a guy who loved to....flail around on the dance floor and thought he was a great dancer. He was.....not.
9) The six dogs kind of bested that.
10) My last one was either Earth, Wind and Fire or BB King. Both just magnificent, and BB King once kissed me right on the mouth.

I am sure you have seen my posts about cats. At least my dogs do not jump up and destroy a years worth of work on a ship model... Cats do.

Well, thanks, plesto. I don't really expect to accomplish with the journal if they get through the profile and aren't thinking, "I must have this rare and delicate creature!! No matter what I see if I keep reading!"

Also, to be honest, I discovered that the journal has a following. Yes, I was as surprised as you are, but apparently it's quite the chucklefest for people who send me a buttload of notes. What really shocked me was finding that they link it to friends. Holy cats! I wonder if there's any money to be made from that.

My cats are dominant and don't jump up. They make me do it.

Maybe you should think about a blog. Lots of people make money from that.

that teachs humans to close the door behind them so the smarter-than-humans kitties cant get in to jump up..

really, I have seen dogs do the same thing with the swish of their big wagging tails.. nothing like watching tv and finding dog hair in yer chip dip or it swished onto the carpet..

I don't do it myself, but there are lots who do. There are people who make a living from it. Go to a website like blogspot.com, or wordpress.com and you can set up a blog for free. I think you are funny and likeable and I enjoy reading your posts; you said some people follow your journal on CM. Then people would follow your blog too. People don't pay to read it, but if a blog becomes popular, advertisers pay the blog owner to place ads on their blogs. I'd check out Wikipedia on the subject if you're interested; I've come to the end of my "knowledge" about earning a living or just making money blogging!

I dont eat in front of the tv, although the dining room/area of the house has a tv in it, so if we have food, it is on the table and therefore no dog tails.

Due to the fact my great nephew is now walking and absolutely hates closed doors when he knows someone is behind them, doors stay open. He is just over a year old and loves to come into a room, visit and chat, then wonder off to find someone else to talk to, or to play. Still have no clue as to what he is saying, so I just nod, say "yup" "nope" "you sure?" a lot and he seems perfectly content.

Besides, cats are aliens under the command of President Obama who are trying to take over the world.

The latch on my bathroom door doesn't fully engage. I can't remember the last time I peed without a cat audience.

I love your humor - love it. Get thee to wordpress.com RIGHT NOW! Then send me a message when you do so I can follow you...which is technically different from stalking, I promise.

When I start feeling the way you do in your OP, I play "I Am Beautiful" by Christina Aguilerra (or however you spell that) and "Perfect" by Pink really loudly and sing along naked. My one dog is quite....um....disturbed by it.

Regarding bashing the ex. I do that online (Taylor Swift channels ME), but never, ever, ever on a date. But for the love of all that is holy, why do men want to tell me all about their miserable ex-wives?

\
I had one guy who had just gotten a new puppy.  He talked about nothing else.  I could tell he was anxious to end our meeting to get home to the puppy.  I kept asking him questions so that he'd have to stay.  After an hour I relented and let him drive off to his puppy.

IF someone asks about my exes, I tell them a very short and to the point synopsis.

Until I get my doctor to sign off on a back problem that kept me from driving, I dont drive. I used to have spasms in my back that affected my legs, since I have lost weight, therefore reducing the strain on the injured area, those have stopped.

Now, of course, my dogs have to approve of a future addition to my life, and if they dont like her. Sorry, you are outa here. (I had five horses when I met my first wife, none of them liked her, every time she went anywhere near them, they kicked, tried to bite or got downright testy. I should have listened to them.)

What the hell am I doing on the computer on a Friday night? I asked a Dom to look at my profile, and he did, sweet man, and told me that my problem was that I was on a dating site looking for dates.

I'm middle aged, and I've got a couple of extra pounds, but I'm not bad looking, and I'm a terrific sub. I'm told that by all the ex-boyfriends, who still want to be my friend, but have chosen vanilla women and then want to call me and bitch and moan about it. Jesus tap-dancing Christmas and his poodle, what does a girl have to do to get her ass beat and get laid in this town?

Everywhere I go I see men my age with women younger than my socks, or with women my age who are just unattractive, screeching harpies, and I wonder, "Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Mister?"

I'm a magnet for married men, who plainly ignore that I know the difference between married and not married, and that it doesn't take NCIS to pick up the clues (like, you can't take me out for New Year's, my birthday, Valentine's Day, or any weekend, you lying specimen). Now, I'm not sure why, because the cheating clown I was married to seemed to be able to celebrate all of these things (including our wedding anniversary) with the screeching harpy that HE'S was involved with (are ya KIDDIN me??), but hey, different strokes.

Speaking of strokes, I'd like to get laid before I have one. Not that I can't do it on my own. I'm an extremely talented masturbator, but really, must I?

I go to events, I go to munches. Granted, I get offers, but I've got some standards. Not many, and they aren't very high, but still. All I know was that it wasn't this hard when I was younger. I wasted my peri-menopause on someone who, as it turned out, wasn't worth the time. Now I just keep hoping that I come back in another life when this one's done, either as a young hottie who knows what I know now, or as a case of bleeding hemorrhoids for one or more of the sleazoids who tell me what a wonderful woman I am. Especially the ones who get in touch the week of my birthday to tell me so.

Awww hell. I'm in the same exact boat as you. If ya lived close we could be drinking buddies.

Anyway, it sucks that you're so far away because after reading your profile it looks like yoou might be someone I would want to get to know. And don't trip about *ehem* some people telling you your profile isn't good...it's just fuckin dandy IMO...I liked it anyway ;')

Oh, I am sooooo IN.

OK, it's a little off topic, but I have to ask. Does *anybody* own a cat that is not fascinated by watching them pee? I thought when My kids grew up, I would get some privacy in the bathroom. Nope. These little furry creatures are just enthralled by how their human counterparts use the box. I keep trying to tell them that I don't bother them when they are using the litter. It seems to have no avail.

Ok, I'm so ashamed of this.

Sometimes I get ticked off and wait for them to use the box, and go in and torment them.

Ok, going to a party. Wearing red and strapless. Wish me luck.

First, to the question about cats, it is part of their plan to take over the world. The more they watch you, the more they learn about controlling the unfortunate human in their house.

As for notsweet's profile, since I am a moderate liberal aka a democrat that loves guns, fast cars, big pick up trucks, but also believes in climate change, social programs, and think that Ron Paul and Rand Paul are complete early 19th century anti civil rights for anyone not white idiots, I doubt we would get along.

However, as friends, I think it would work, as long as we do not try to change each other's political beliefs.

Oh, I also believe that Obama is a republican ass kissing idiot that does not have the backbone to stand up for what he believes, he campaigned on change, and went straight to the middle of the road and bowing down to republicans even when he didnt need them.

We need someone that can work with both parties and accomplish something, this partisan bullshit is killing the country.
