LillyBoPeep -> RE: Luxuries we think we can't live without but find we can with practice (2/26/2013 9:34:09 PM)

My cell phone died last year sometime and I haven't yet replaced it. I have had some wonky situations, though, were I actually needed the thing. When you're stuck, and you find that the world has removed the payphones, and no store counters anywhere nearby have a phone that they'll let you use for 2 seconds, you really wish you had yours. I separated from TV; I used to use it a lot just to fill the empty space while I was doing something in another room. I don't find I need it for that so much these days. I have a few things I record on DVR, but that's it. I used to trawl for documentaries, but TLC, Discovery, History, and whatever else have been taken over by SHIT reality shows. =p I'd love to live somewhere where I could get around without a car.
