ORIGINAL: MasterCaneman I may be grabbing at straws here, but I think the poster was meaning people who are into it in a identifiable way, or perhaps the 24/7s? I dunno. It's so hard to look at someone and say, "They're sceners, they're vanillas, they're weekend warriors, etc, etc," Of course it is because there are no rules. What I can tell you is that Carol and I are definitely "not kinky" in any meaningful sense -- at least if you're using BDSM as a measure for kink. It's worth remembering that there are entire horizons of "alternate sexuality" that don't involve whips & chains. There are certainly some "less than usual" facets to our lovemaking... they just don't involve BDSM. As you noted, real people and relationships don't fit well into the tiny little boxes that BDSM'ers like to fit themselves into. Many people who actually know Carol and I pretty well in the real world come to different conclusions about whether we are "kinky" or not and whether we are "members of the community" or not.
