HisTicia, I can't truly put to words the feelings I get when doing needle play...I normally by that point am off in a different world to some degree. I can tell you that I personally LOVE, when I hear them being taken out of the wrappers! I can recall the first time I felt them too, but not when it was, (a few years ago). I would think it depends on where he puts them and how, the feeling from it really. The main point of me replying though was the one question about needles at the Dr's verses play. I am diabetic, meaning, I have blood taken every 3 months from the Dr's office...I hate it and every now and then push that 3 months longer because of that dislike of the lab putting a needle near me...NOT fear, I just simply hate it! But with Master I love it! To me the two are completely different. To be honest, I don't know if it was some one other than Master doing it, if I would handle it well or not, but I trust him, and I don't have a problem, more so look forward to this activity with him. I do find at times, a blindfold helps (NOT watching or seeing them)...having Master very close helps too, first time I was in a chair, and he was behind me so his arms actually around me as he put the needles in place ;-)...that seem to help reduce the fear of the new thing as well?
