There's a lot of audio recorded as to what she said that can be compared with the evidence and with her other statements. A lot of it contradicts known evidence, and she contradicts herself.

And? You do know the law allows for that, yes?

Keeping George at the Station until midnight questioning him...having him do a reenactment and lie detector test the next day, then questioning him again...canvassing for witnesses, taking DNA samples...that's what I call investigating.

And yet no background check. Call it shitty investigation that also allowed OJ to go free.

There are lots and lots of questions related to the "investigation" of this case that should be interesting to have answers too.

Good thing the law isnt as black and white as your way of thinking, isnt it.

quote:

It's the Defense's job to impeach her if they can. Sounds like they can. So it doesn't matter if you have massive issues with it.

You believe that. OMara isnt quite so sure.

quote:

Actually, my stance is based around the entire lack of evidence that George set out to kill anyone, and based around the strong evidence that at the moment the shot was fired, George had a reasonable fear for his life. You're attacking a strawman.

And mine is based upon Zimmerman's known history. A history that, had it been investigated, should have had him arrested

False again. I just have an above average knowledge of the facts of the case and what's proven or not proven by those facts.

No, you have a limited knowledge of the facts of the case, same as anyone else. But, by god, you are going to be right.... LOL

The advantage to sticking to truth, is that I have no reason to worry about my credibility.

Your credibility is already known.... lol... and you have been schooled enough.

Hell, maybe she was at the hospital, visiting some other boyfriend who got his ass shot. It is the leading cause of death for young black men after all, even if the media only notices when a "white" guy does the shooting. If she isn't going to be a reliable witness, the prosecution should go forward without her. This should go to the jury with the clear facts of the case, not some dumb teenager who cannot be believed.

My take is that Zimmerman created the incident where Trayvon Martin died. A jury will figure it out. My understanding of the case says he ought to go away for manslaughter, he might get railroaded for murder, and I will be carrying a firearm the day they come back with a verdict, just in case he walks.

I didn't say otherwise.

They did do one. It doesn't particularly matter if it wasn't done as fast as you thought it should be, while they were busy investigating the scene and interrogating witnesses.

A lie is a lie, regardless of the law.

Where has O'Mara said that? Or are you making that up.

I would wager your knowledge of the case isn't near mine.

You're imagining things. You resorting to ad hominems when demonstrated to be wrong is hardly schooling anyone.

BTW, the "assault on the cop" that people have made much a big deal over?

It was George putting his hand on the guy's shoulder and asking him "What's going on?" according to an eyewitness.

It's funny how the State kept that bit under wraps until December.
