subrob1967 -> Dianne Feinstein Thinks It's Legal To Hunt Humans (3/8/2013 6:28:46 PM)

“The time has come, America, to step up and ban these weapons. The other very important part of this bill is to ban large capacity ammunition feeding devices, those that hold more than 10 rounds. We have federal regulations and state laws that prohibit hunting ducks with more than three rounds and yet it’s legal to hunt humans with 15-round, 30-round, even 150-round magazines. Limiting magazine capacity is critical because it is when a criminal, a drug dealer, a deranged individual has to pause to change magazines and reload that the police or brave bystanders have the opportunity to take that individual down.”

Here it in her own words.

Can someone tell me where it's legal to hunt a human in the US?

Fucking nutter, and you guys say republicans are crazy.[8|]

Having to listen to crap like this must be hell on people who are trying to quit drinking.

I'm trying to imagine a 150 round clip. But I just can't. Is it huge like a super giant big gulp? I'm sorry mayor Bloomberg I didn't mean big gulp.

Oy vey. What can I say that hasn't been said infinitum ad infinitum? Thank god for the coming age of 3D printers, mine won't be arriving till June this year (go to Kickstarter). Till then I'll have to stick to hand made springs, aluminum sheeting (yes there are materials you can buy to sodder aluminum), a dremel, a hand file kit I bought from Walmart for $7, and one of my any spare followers for more homemade thirty round mags.

I mean if they outlaw thirty round mags, I'll just have to take all my thirty round .223 mags, pop out the follower and use my .458 Socom single stack followers (much more reliable) so I have ten round .458 Socom magazines, or better yet if any of my thirty round magazines are grandfathered I'll have to order rebuild kits and not use them to make new mags which is quick and easy to do, or when I'm building my ten round magazines on dummy thirty round mags, using thirty round mag parts (spring), i'll have to drive a rivet into the housing of the mag so no more than ten rounds can be loaded to "permanently" prevent the loading of thirty rounds even though I could take a dremel and the right bit and remove that rivet. Gee gosh, these laws will sure stop criminals. Guess I'll have to put all this stuff on the internet so the criminals find this stuff and know not to do that because that would be wrong and no one ever does anything wrong.

Nosathro -> RE: Dianne Feinstein Thinks It's Legal To Hunt Humans (3/9/2013 9:43:19 AM)

I notices that no one stated in Feinstein statement mentioning of the restrictions on how many round a gun has in duck hunting 3 rounds. None of you are trying to misquote or take things out of content?[sm=violin.gif]

mnottertail -> RE: Dianne Feinstein Thinks It's Legal To Hunt Humans (3/9/2013 9:46:08 AM)

It is legal for cops to hunt humans with those size mags.

Not in California. State Law allows up to a 15 round magazine.

It's not legal for cops to hunt anyone at anytime... We are allowed to search, pursue, detain, arrest, or defend ourselves and others, but not to hunt humans.

*nods* That's the neat part about being the one with the badge -- everything looks so shiny. This is akin to a deer hunter saying "I'm not hunting deer. I'm doing environmental management"

You do understand, right, that some of the rest of us on the other end of your gun barrel might not see it in entirely the same light.

Are you saying that cops can't have anything they want?

You obviously didn't bother reading the original post.

I've never seen a wanted dead or alive poster, ever.

nope.

ETA. I'm pretty sure he was talking about using the printer to make magazines. There is very little stress on magazine parts. Plastic would work just fine.

Moonhead -> RE: Dianne Feinstein Thinks It's Legal To Hunt Humans (3/11/2013 7:43:11 AM)

Fair enough. I was thinking of the springs in the magazines more than anything else, to be honest.
