oh dear oh dear oh dear.

Your sarcasm is touching. I hope you intend to share it with the families of the dead. I'm sure they'll appreciate your concern.

K.

[Sarcasm font on] If Mother Jones says that one out of ten mass shootings not being in a gun free zone proves that there is niegther preference for or greater sucsess by mass shooters it must be Gods own truth. Don't be a slave to things like basic arithmetic. Don't you know that guns are demons apearing to us in the form of inanimate objects? [sarcasm font off]

You gotta learn to type faster. Your quote went up five minutes after I edited most of that snark out of my post. [:D]

Those were debts that your brother legally occurred prior to his death, I'm guessing. Not debts that were accrued by a third party. (Unless he was married and they were joint debts.) Your brother's estate wouldn't have been liable had somebody walked into the room where he died, grabbed his credit cards, and went on a spending spree.

Very poor analogy
Why?

whatchoo preparing for?

Is it really a matter of preparing?

The verb that comes to my mind in threads like this is "compensating."

did you read this?
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/12/mass-shootings-mother-jones-full-data

Yes, did you? Taking the most deadly shootings, we find the following...

Dead   Location        Gun Free

 28    Newtown         yes
 12    Aurora          yes
 13    Fort Hood       yes
14    Binghamton      probably (American Civic Association + NY gun laws)
 10    Red Lake        yes
 33    Virginia Tech   yes
 12    Columbine       yes
24    Luby's          yes (carry not allowed in 1991)
 10    GMAC            probably (business office)
 15    USPS            yes
 22    MacDonalds      unknown

Draw your own conclusions.

K.

Just to point out to you a few errors, Fort Hood is not "gun free" as you think a school isit is an army post, so there would be weapons restrictions. And Nidal Hasan bought the gun from a gun store just outside the post, it only took him some 10 minuate to get the gun and go back on post to commit the crime. Virgina Tech does have armed police, they were looking for Cho before he locked the building and started shooting. Columbine did have an armed police officer on duty who did engage Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris. So my conclusion is your full of it...will somebody open a window, it stinks in here.

Nosathro -> RE: It's Just so Scary -- Adam Lanza (4/4/2013 12:19:02 AM)

125 shots were directed at the students and teachers, one a .40 from a Glock was what Adam used on himself, total 126.

You are comparing the actions of someone not directly involved in something such as Nancy was, acting irresponsibly by leaving gun out. It appear the Nancy was taking care of Adam, due to he autism.

Army regulations require that under normal operational procedure at Army bases on home soil soldiers are prohibited from carrying weapons unless under specific orders to do so (such as military police). ~Lessons from Fort Hood shooting

You obviously don't know what a fucking gun-free zone is. Virgina Tech and Columbine were both gun-free zones.

Sure does, but then most of your conclusions smell pretty awful.

NY Daily News Exclusive

Newtown killer Adam Lanza may have launched his murder spree at Sandy Hook Elementary School as an “act of revenge,” the Daily News has learned. A close friend of Lanza’s mother told The News that the troubled boy was a target of relentless bullying when he attended the Connecticut school years ago. “I think Adam felt betrayed by the school and this was his act of revenge,” said Marvin LaFontaine, a friend of Nancy Lanza’s. “Nancy told me he was being picked on at school. That they were just torturing him...”

“Adam was an easy target. He was quiet and he would never fight back,” LaFontaine said. Nancy Lanza was so incensed by the school’s failure to protect her son that she sometimes showed up unannounced to watch over him, LaFontaine said. “She was so upset that the teachers weren’t protecting him from the bullies that she went with him like a bodyguard,” said LaFontaine, who was also Lanza’s Cub Scout leader when he was a young boy.

And so Adam kills his mother, who is protecting him at school and you are now justifying Adams actions. Makes sense to me.
