Monitoring and "refereeing" cost money. You have to have live monitors (& no, volunteers wouldn't work because than you have issues of favoritism) and trust me..based on the number of people who complain verbally...the monitors would be busy 24/7. There are already many paid sites..do we need another? Is it irritating? Yes. But I would rather NOT be charged $20-$30 per month to help those of you who are too...challenged...to not be able to figure that sending money to people who advertise webcam services MAY be LYING.. You know what? I have NEVER ONCE been asked for money from anyone on this site. I have NEVER ONCE offered to SEND money to anyone on this site.

I don't mean to rant but I am sick & tired of being charged constantly to prevent other people from being taken advantage of or to police the criminal element who is always looking for quick money through illegal activities

I met a previous sub here, as well as a young woman who's kinda like my daughter. I've met some folks strictly as friends, including UllrsIshtar. To be honest, it's not that good as a meetup site because the Internet itself isn't as effective as meeting in person at an event or munch.

That said, I can spot a fake profile or someone incompatible in seconds, so my wasted time is almost nil.
