ORIGINAL: TricklessMagic I'm all for protections and equal treatment under the law based on race, creed, nationality, gender, and medical disability (ADA). That's just the right thing. If private entities wish to provide scholarships and grants to certain groups from that that is their business. The use of public funds to do so I find problematic as it will only heighten passions of discrimination. Now on to feminism. Really. Arguing over feminism, like (any racial group other than white) being racist towards white, is like pissing into the wind, nothing good will be accomplished and to others you'll be left smelling nasty. No matter how true or right you may be. Just face that there are "feminists" and the only time you have to deal with them is in the workplace and if you don't like it go look for work elsewhere. I've met many feminists while hanging out with gay friends. They tend to be dried up worthless, lonely, childless, annoying bitches. The ones I encountered at least, there could be lots of happily married (or happily single) that have everything they want in life for all I know, don't know, never met any that were. I've also never met a feminist I wanted to fuck so it's kind of pointless to really take interest in any of them. If you run into them in public just treat them like you treat someone who is "touched" (mentally handicapped). Be nice, talk kindly, and get away from them as soon as possible. Don't argue politics or anything, because you will be quickly labeled something negative as per the usual of anything remotely on the left. They love to throw out racist, bigot, misogynist, anything with a phobia it seems, without being able to back up the reasons for using it. If you don't like someone's politics, don't shop where they own businesses (boycott), if you can legally not hire them (not liking someone and thinking they would not be a good fit in the office based on their personality), and don't donate money to their political party. Thanks for the tips, TM. I tend to follow them already. Well, at least off-line.
