Fess up. Who watched it?

Did you think it was a good show? Any opinions on favorite matches? Disappointments?

Haha, I really like that you watch the wrestling Lady Pact! It was on too late in the UK, I will be watching it later so I will tell you then. Don't spoiler me, but I'm hoping for some unpredictability, It all seemed a little bit too obvious going in.

Not watched it yet obviously, but predicting Cena, HHH, Taker, Shield, Ryback, Tons of Funk, Hell No, Del Rio ftw. Lets see how I do!

I'm hoping for a Ziggler cash in as well. Him and D-Bry are my favourites.

I didn't watch but I'm glad Taker won. I'm definitely a fan of the old school so as long as he kept the streak going I'm happy :p

I googled Wrestlemania and checked out the very old ones.  The names brought back many sweet memories and put a smile on my face.  Watching wrestling every week was something I did with my middle son.

Yes, I am crazy about feathered creatures. I have a dozen chickens, 3 ducks, 5 geese, and 2 parakeets.

Revise that number. Just got 14 new chicks and 5 turkeys.

I must admit I was scared to open this thread. I didn't watch. Reason for it is bc I'm afraid that Cena is gonna beat Rock. Not bc he can, but bc I think Vince thinks it would be good entertainment. So I'm afraid to ask or watch. But, who won between them?

I didn't watch it, but now I'm glad I didn't. I watch on Mon and Fri with my husband (actually we DVR it). I've developed a strong dislike for the shield. Plus, Sheamus is super hot. I already googled to find out what happened and BOOO! I was really hoping they would get the snot knocked out of them. My husband kept saying Big Show is going to turn on them. He won't let me talk about what I found out.

I stopped watching wrestling back in '09. Mom says it reminds her of Dad too much (he died in '07) so I don't keep up with it. I remember watching Junk Yard Dog when I was 12...

I can say this without spoiling results.

Absolutely no disappointment in special effects, pyrotechnics, and fireworks. Sean (P. Diddy) Combs (whichever version of the name he's using now) didn't excite the crowd to the extent that I thought he had the potential for. In his defense, I think his set was too short to get the gears changed of almost 81,000 people. CM Punk's theme song was sung live and that band was great.

MetLife stadium set an attendance record with the crowd. I believe the official number was 80,676. I'm sure that made it tough for folks to even spot Jerico's entrance if it hadn't been for his music. I think Undertaker's entrance was the one that had the crowd the most excited.

I didn't get everything that I wanted in the wins verses losses but I definitely got a good show.

I haven't watched wrestling in years, but the Undertaker was always my favorite. The way he could maintain that expressionless look....

Geez, that was nearly 20 years ago! How old is this guy?

Yeah, I always liked how he walked on the ropes.

I loved wrestling at one time, back when the Road Warriors and the Horsemen were in their heyday.

Rick Flair, Sgt. Slaughter, The Iron Sheik, Macho Man Randy Savage, George "The Animal" Steele, Gorilla Monsoon ..wow.. haven't watched in years. I know a lot of those folks are gone so tip o' the hat to them for the entertainment and thanks for the memories.

A little off topic ... I grew up watching "wrasslin" on Saturday evenings with my dad while he drank Papst Blue Ribbon beer.

When my kids were growing up, I can't tell you the number of events that would come to town and I would save up for months to be able to take them to the "live" events. Jerico came through the crowd one night headed to the stage and my daughter touched his arm and got sweat on her hand. You would have thought she had won the lottery. Then the number of nights we watched it on PPV. Haven't watched it in years though.

Superfly Jimmy Snuka! Jake the Snake! Leaping Lanny Poffo! And my all time favorite, The Ultimate Warrior!
When I was little we used to live near WWF in CT. My friends and I would ride our bikes to the WWF building and just sit outside waiting for the wrestlers to come by so we could get their autographs. Sgt. Slaughter actually had a camouflage limousine, and the Undertaker had a purple van with skulls painted on it!
We had Wrestlemania Parties with each food item named for a wrestler, Hulk Hogan Hogie, Andre the Giant Applejuice, etc. Fun times.

I admit it,I am a closest wrestling fan.I grew up watching wrestling back in the 1980's and somehow,I never grew out of it.Most of my predictions for WrestleMania 29.I won't give out the results since some people in here have yet to see WrestleMania.I think personally it turned out good.Where I live here in Tampa Bay,Florida,is well known for it wrestling history/Hulk Hogan lives here in the Tampa Bay area.I met him before.I met the Bushwackers when they use to own their own restaurant in Tampa Bay.In fact,I had a chance to meet the Bushwhackers a variety of times.I got authographs, pictures, etc.I got to talk them a number of times. As a young 12 year old who loved wrestling, that was a neat experience.I grew up watching the Bushwackers too.

It dawns on me, that perhaps I don't watch wrestling anymore because I enjoy participating so much in force play. It's like golf, I watch when I can't play.

I wonder if the folks posting here also enjoy force play? Just being nosy.
