When I've been very submissive to someone (I do not use the word slave but I am not sure it is too different if you're very sub) then it's not an issue. In fact I have enjoyed me who want to track my periods, who want to know me as a person, to control me, to be so intimately involved with me and my body that my menstruation is something they know about and assess how submissive I am around that. I am most sub when I menstruate and least just before.

As for any mess etc that is up to the man to think about. Surprisingly I have never been in a relationship when a man did not want sex when I had my period but it would be his decision. I certainly feel my least sexual at the start of my period but that's not a problem - I feel very submissive and he can do as he wants.

I get very cold so I tend to need the heating on all the time except at night - one of the advantages of earning quite a bit and being divorced is constant warmth .... mmmmm and I don't feel sexy if I'm cold so most men who want someone who actively wants them are not likely to want me to be very cold. It can be a practical issue though if a man has his house very cold and when they come to mine it is too hot for them - I suppose you just endure the physical conditions and then escape back to your own preferred climate if you don't live together.

Odd question, but what happens when a slave has her period? If she has to walk around on all fours naked what does she do about it?

Well, personally, I've never had a period. And neither I nor any slaves I've ever known have spent much of their time "walking around on all fours naked."

I would hope that any dom with a slave who does have periods would be aware that making her crawl around naked during her period is likely to get messy.

Where did I get that silly mental video of a mop head attached to a butt plug?

Ok, for silly photo session maybe but please, reality check!

I got the same mental picture, lol.

The OP's question is just another example of too much porn, not enough reality.

What does this supposed slave do when she has to pee or poop? Or fart, or sneeze, or hiccup? You can't control any of these acts including menstruation, so it's going to happen anyway; the person in charge better either take suggestions from the slave as to her having a tampon in, or accept the consequence that she'll drip blood everywhere.

that's endangering her health, which I don't advise. At least in my country, doctors are not allowed to even sell you birth control if you mention anything about using it to stop your period, as it is medically recognized in my country as self-harm.

Seriously? In my county doctors claim there is no harm at all and actually recommend using birth control like that to treat heavy or painful menstruations.

Because, the situation isn't a situation at all especially with the invention of tampons. And yea, you are right, birth control can stop bleeding too, but...., that's endangering her health, which I don't advise. In this country there is a birth control pill that one can take continuously for 3 months and then you have a period.

Also I have known several women on the pill, who had a special event planned such as a vacation who consulted with their doctors and they were just told to skip their inert pills for that month and begin another pack: voila- no period during their vacation/wedding/etc.

I was someone who always had very irregular periods until 6-7 years ago.
No harm came to me because I missed a period for 4-5 months.

There are risks with suppressing your period:

quote:

- high exposure to estrogen. Menstrual suppression pills expose women to hormones over a greater period of time than regular birth control pills and in some cases in smaller yet more powerful doses. Seasonale, for example, exposes women to 9 more weeks of estrogen and progestin annually compared to regular birth control pills.

- general health risks. In turn, high levels of estrogen found in menstrual suppression pills have been linked, though not conclusively, to an increased risk of blood clots, stroke and heart attack.

- reproductive health risks. Experts warn that menstrual suppression pills have many risks for a woman’s reproductive health. Menstruation helps to expel harmful substances from the body, such as toxins and bacteria, thereby providing a natural cleansing system for the body.

Aside from tampons, there are also menstrual cups. I've never used them, so I can't attest to how well they work, but I've heard good things from other ladies. You would need time to remove it before sex though...

I am a menstrual hippy and love my silicone moon cup. However, as LadyHib (who is not a menstrual hippy but taught me the phrase) says, you do have to "root around for your cervix."

When I'm spotting or bleeding lightly I can use my diaphragm and not leak. There's something over the counter that works the same way but are disposable but the name escapes me and they leaked.

During the heaviest day or two of my period I wear sweats and triple protection - reality prevents me from crawling around on the floor naked during this time. (Actually, I never crawl. I must not be a true sub)

This is something I constantly come to CM looking for....ways to advise men on what to do when a woman has her period.

Please continue (or.....not even at all, as in never).

Depends on the cause of heavy menstruation. Mine are from fibroids, which can get bigger with more estrogen, so birth control is not indicated. (Prometrium, a natural progesterone, did help me for a number of years but did not suppress the periods, and is no longer as effective, but the damn thing is the size of a grapefruit now.)

Believe it or not, there are people with a "ruby shower" fetish, and people with a tampon fetish. If I wanted a woman on her period to get naked on all fours in front of me, I'd have her prep her vag with a tampon as best she knew how, then I'd probably insert another tampon in her ass for some fun humiliation factor, then I'd have her assume the position.

I haven't done it so I can't speak to it personally, but I've read various counts of tampons in the ass being risky, simply because the tampon is designed to absorb liquids and it might cause issue with the anal mucus membranes.

As for the OP, I'd say ask your Dom about it, yes? Any decent tampon should prevent messy issues.

Man, the vitriol on this site is terrible. A simple question is asked and instead of just answering politely you get met with pure disdain. Nothing the OP said stated 24/7 nakedness.

One can use a diaphragm or the Instead Soft Cup.

Both are great for non messy moments.
