I care a little bit because the cost of illegal guns will go up if gun control is instituted. You'll never see another unregistered classic Thomson for 3 grand.

Hunting with a handgun is pointless and dangerous.
Target shooting is better done with a rifle.

Keeping people from killing you.

Hunting with a handgun desplays more skill than using a rifle or shotgun.

Same with target shooting.

And that Mauser was a military rifle in 1871. A few things have changed in military firearms in the last 140 years.

BOLT action yes internally they are mostly the same as a Mauser as used by the German army in both world wars.
The Springfield was just a Mauser with a U S caliber.

Bolt actions are not assault rifles, nobody has learned how to make a full auto bolt action.

Anyone who thinks that bolt actions are assault weapons has disqualified themselves from the conversation.

That depends on the targets, the range, how much you're willing to spend and on a lot of other factors.

We get it Ken, you don't like handguns. Why don't you just say it and leave it at that instead of making up such farcical "reasons" why they're such "bad" things?
