I'd be angry too if a man was chasing my beaver around with a camera!

So not what I was expecting.
Good thing I don't plan on going beaver hunting any time soon.

I don't understand why you would get so close to a wild beaver.

They cut down trees with their freaking teeth.

What's not be be afraid of?

You'll get no argument from me. It always astounds me when humans thoughtlessly, selfishly impose themselves upon the personal space of any critter. They are also usually the fools who end up complaining about how they were attacked by said critter. No respect. And they wonder why critters all over the world are seemingly senselessly attacking humans? There's only so much stress critters can take before they blow.

Just classic.

Animals are dangerous. It's not like Mother Nature sells margarine on TV. It's a dog chase cat World out there.

Be careful !!

Indeed.

About the same size as a badger, I think. I came across one of those late at night, once - and it wasn't remotely bothered by me. In fact, it started to come towards me. Then I thought a) of its teeth and b) the height of its head in relation to a precious portion of my personage. I said, 'All right, mate, have your worms, rodents or whatever else it is you want to eat here' - and beat a retreat.
