JessieMe -> Nipple Piercings (6/24/2006 7:26:34 AM)

I am trying to prepare myself mentally for the possibility of having my nipples pierced. This is something that Master Steven has stated he may want of me in the future and I wish to give this to Him as He desires. However, I am terrified of this. (yes I know. overdramatic)

What I am looking for is information of what to expect if I get this done. The process both physical and mental (emotional too if you were where I am now before hand)  what the actual experience was like, what someone did to help you through it if you needed that, and what the recovery period is like.

Thank you for your thoughts on this.

You get out of it what you take into it.  If you walk in expecting to feel pain, and are very tense, then yes, it will hurt.  Just take a deep breath, relax, and it will all be over before you know it.  And for crying out loud, make sure you keep them clean.

This http://tattoo.about.com/cs/piercefaq/a/110603a.htm and this http://tattoo.about.com/cs/piercefaq/a/110603a_2.htm (continuation of the same article) were helpful in telling you what to expect in a few different areas when getting your nipples pierced. I do not personally have my nipples pierced, so I can't advise you on that, but I can tell you from previous piercing experience....It doesn't hurt as much as you think it will, it's over before you know it, yes the area will be sensitive (not always right away, sometimes is doesn't get sensitive for a day or two), and above all, keep it clean! I have found it is definitely worth it- I have had to remove piercings for periods that caused the hole to close, but I like it so much I got it repierced- 3 times! BTW....why are you terrified of getting this done?

JessieMe -> RE: Nipple Piercings (6/24/2006 7:56:23 AM)

Because the thought of pain always seems to terrify me more than the actuality of pain LOL.. besides.. I was never really into the whole piercing culture. But if this is what He wishes.. I will of course allow Him to make it happen.

One of the things we have been doing is working with the clamps that actually look like nipple rings. I have been wearing them for different lengths of time to get used to the sensations. Those puppies HURT! LOL.. and if I put them so that they are only "uncomfortable" they are not tight enough and fall off. So.... just from doing that.. I am worried.

I would say there will be a big difference in the "clamps" your practicing on versus an actual piercing.  With the proper after care and time, I am sure they will be fine and bring much joy for your master as well as yourself.  Mental state is a big factor in preparing for something like this.  Relax, relax, and relax.  Perhaps some relaxing breathing technique will help.

"His Highness" has also been hinting at wanting to have my nipples pierced (and have his initials engraved on a small charm to hang from them).  Like you, the thought of piercing them is not a pleasant thought.  Besides the piercing itself, healing seems to take forever.

I LOVE nipple torture!  However, I worry about how piercings will interfere with the sensation.  In addition, won't actualling having metal through a nipple cause more damage when being played with ..... hard?  Can't more damage occur?  I'm past the age of having to ever nurse a baby again, so there are no worries there.  But, there must be LOTS of people here who have them pierced.

I'm with Jessie on this one.

wild1cfl -> RE: Nipple Piercings (6/24/2006 9:10:19 AM)

I recently collared a lovely lady who had her nipples pierced. While playing we would often find that the bars would interfere with play. Rope would catch on them and pull, or other things would catch on them and pull which would send a not so good sensation thru her body. Our decision was for her to remove the piercings and let them heal up, which she has done and she has not regretted it at all.
I will say to each his or her own, some have no problem with them while others have a lot of problems with them. Best of luck to you in your decision.

Hi, You can go to this site to see how they do it   http://www.bmezine.com, or this site, I love this one  http://ringsofdesire.com.  I think that both of them require you to submit proof of age, you can scan something and attach to an email.  Rings of Desire shows you all the pierceings and goes up close to when she does the actual pierceing.  Its neat, I think anyway.  Good luck.

I had mine done about 9 months ago, they never really hurt or bothered me after it was done.  Just make sure to follow the piercer's instructions on aftercare.

redpetals -> RE: Nipple Piercings (6/24/2006 9:33:19 AM)

i have to say this
i think the only way to prepare for it is to just simply obey
for me that's all i really did
the experience is like childbirth in a way..
once through it you know you can do it again..
if Your Master will be there You will be so lucky..
even better to have a Master do the piercing..
mine were done standing up because i have " big uns"
it was spiritual..(but i tear up at the anthem..)
the pain is sweet..
anyways..maybe you could show us pics after wards?
just teasin'

well, I have mine Pierced( nipples that is) and have had my clit hood and tounge as well .the only problem i had was ,When i had a loose thread on a blanket and it pulled the bar .A for the pain well it was more like a pinch.Since i can be a slut for pain( go figure) i think it hurt more when Master pinched my nipples in play( before)e, then thet actual piercing itself.I think that the clit hood hurt a tad bit more. But when i went a OB/GYN appointment the Dr. got a lil upset and took it upon himsself to take it his words"that is not healthy"whatever......So i did not get mad i just Said Doc,i get a thrill from whips and floggers and like being hung from crosses ,who ever said anything i do was healthy..

JessieMe -> RE: Nipple Piercings (6/24/2006 9:57:15 AM)

Thank you everyone for the input. I have checked out the information on the websites given and appreciate the time you took to respond. It seems now I am focused much less on the pain of the actual healing and focused more on how long the recovery period is going to be. I also read in one of the articles given about "migrating piercings".. Not sure what exactly that is but it doesnt sound good. I definitely need to research this more.

Thanks again !

redpetals -> RE: Nipple Piercings (6/24/2006 10:22:45 AM)

anytime you wear anything on your nipple for extended times you run real danger of killing tissue..and its nothing like the actual pierced sensation anyways..
peircing is easier all the way around..

mistoferin -> RE: Nipple Piercings (6/24/2006 10:31:18 AM)

I've had mine done for quite a few years now. I can tell you that getting them pierced does hurt. The pain is of the hot and searing variety. It's deliciously yummy in my opinion...but I am sure others would disagree. It lasts for just about as long as you can suck wind, then it's over.

The recovery period isn't really painful. A little soreness or tenderness....unless you bump one, then it smarts for a minute or two. The healing time on nipples can be really long....I've heard of people still not fully healed at a year. It's important not to play with them while they heal....and especially NO contact of bodily fluids that are not your own.

Migrating is an issue for some. That means the jewelry migrates or works it's way out. It's your body rejecting it. It can leave really nasty scarring when it happens and if it begins to occur I would suggest removing the jewelry and letting it heal.

Just make sure you find an experienced and reputable piercer who practices good sterile procedures and follow his advice closely for aftercare. It is a long term commitment....in my opinion, one that is worth it.

I asked about nipple piercings in health and safety - its the thread called loss of sensitivity. You might wanna have a read of that.

Hello Jessie,

I had both of my nipples pierced a few months ago, by a piercer, with my Master present.

I was very apprehensive and had been wondering about nipple piercings for quite a while.

The day it happened, all the worry and wondering was halted, as there was probably half an hour from my Master deciding *it would happen* to  it  being done. Once he'd made the decision and I KNEW it was going to happen, it was a lot easier than if he'd left it to me to decide when.

It did hurt, especially the second one as I had no freeze-spray for it........but as other's have already mentioned, it didn't hurt for very long.

Afterwards, they were sore for quite a few weeks, if knocked or in a tight bra for any length of time. I washed them each day in salt water and patted them dry and did not touch or fiddle with them.

It's been roughly 6 months now, and one of them can be a little tender occasionally as total healing can take quite a time.

They haven't hindered me in any way or got in the way of any activity.

I really like them and haven't a single regret.

Regards, agirl

edited to add.....In regard to being helped emotionally or physically...my Master held my hand, my eyes and my focus during the whole process and I can catagorically say that it was an experience I won't forget.

ok i hafta jump in here.  migrating piercings.  the body has a grain, just like wood.  if you pierce with the grain as in a horizontal hood piercing, the jewelry can migrate out.  if against the grain as in a vertical hood piercing, the likelyhood of migration is slim to none.  i've had mine, both nipples & hood for over 5 years now and not had any difficulty with them.
as far as lactation, being on hormones, the lil devils still have a mind of their own and the piercings haven't stopped that at all.
as wo the pain, have someone staple your nips to a hot asphalt parking lot in full sun and then park a sherman tank on them... that is about equal the pain i think.  yes, like childbirth and fortunately you forget it as soon as it's over.  it's a long 3 seconds though!
and yes, ALWAYS, choose a reputable piercer.  visit several to get an idea of what they do and compare to others.  ask those in the area that have piercings who they recommend and why?  you hear a horror story, don't go, that simple.
now... loss of sensitivity.  no way jose'  if anything, they are 10 times more sensitive.  i'm not into pain and can't handle any clamps there... a breath of air makes them go crazy!!!
enjoy your new toys, you will love them!

Whether or not migration occurs is dependent more upon the individual being pierced, the care that is taken during healing and the composition of the jewelry. Some people's bodies reject....some people's don't. Some metals have a lower likelihood of rejection...some are higher. The area being pierced is also a factor. Surface piercings...such as corset piercings...have a very high rate of migration...some say over 90 %.

thank you erin for adding to and enhancing what i wrote.  there are many things to consider and learn before jumping into body mods... always research and talk to many as in this example, two heads were better than one!

JessieMe,

Master Ron requested I have my nipples piereced, and I did it two months ago.  I, like you, was terrified to have it done.  But, I did have it done.

I have not regretted it.  After the intial trauma . . .about three days . . . I have had no pain at all.  I recommend that your Master or a friend be present, as I would have backed out if I did not have support.

My nipples were pierced in Rockford, IL, and I think my screams are still legendary.  ;)
However, I do not regret it.

My tips on getting through it are to make sure you have dial soap availabel, I preferred the liquid.  Also, if they have dragon spray available, it is worth the extra $20.00.

I never expected to be happy that I did this.  But . . . . Master was so happy, and I also like the look of it.

Good luck girl . . .

s.

Gives new meaning to the expression "burly dom", huh?

... and the other beauty part of the grain thing: if you think your new buddy may have been less than completely honest revealing his or her (or its) age online, when that fateful first "real" meeting happens you can take a core sample and count the rings.

On the other hand if the age things doesn't bother you too much but you're sentimental enough to collect souvenirs, it is nice to know that you can wait till the relationship ends and just take a section out of the middle to fill that space over the mantle with a nice decoupage clock.

aellea,

The only grain-like structure I'm aware of (and I'm no physiologist) in the body has to do with the striations of muscle tissue--important to keep in mind for roast carving. I would have thought that most piercings don't penetrate a lot of muscle, though. By now my ignorance of these matters should be clear enough. Can you explain what in the body--cellular structures or what-have-you--yields this grain you're talking about if it isn't the muscle striation thing? Does the grain tend to run North and South, so to speak, or orient itself in some other systematic way?

I'm not into a whole lot of body metal but temporary piercings are fun and I'm guessing that against-the-grain piercings might be more painful, so dendrochronology jokes aside, can you say a little more about this?

Thanks
