ORIGINAL: LaTigresse quote:
ORIGINAL: ChainTee Its a word use by people who like to define themself as serious hardcore onliners. Mostly the people who use it are the type of people who spend every minute of the day online from the time they get up, until they go back to bed and do little else. Example A. quote:
Spiritedsub2 Correct. Dear Spiritedsub2, even if I do not dare to qualify ChainTee yet, this sentence is exactly the kind of things you can expect from a troll as "opening fire". Observe how he attacks immediately everybody who has used, is using or will use, the word "troll" in this thread, telling that: - They are not really hardcore onliners, as they only "like to define themselves as". - They have no life and do nothing useful. - They spend all their time online. So, from a general question (like yours) he makes a general attack to many people at the same time, which are reading this thread. The obvious intention is to "open fire", to get answers as offensive as possible, to start the fights. Observe his reaction in the rest of the thread to get more examples. Best regards. Well, in the spirit of debate, what you've just done here is a personal attack of sorts. What he did was a generalization. Didn't we just have a go-round recently about how we are allowed to talk in generalities if we want to throw around our opinions, but not to pinpoint anyone specific on the boards? Yet, you've essentially just called him, this specific poster, a troll.
