ORIGINAL: fucktoyprincess I have to say, when I saw the clip of the shooting, I really felt badly for the cops. Truly. To pull someone over for a traffic violation and then be attacked by an assault weapon. How scary for them. I've noticed some buzz on the Internet criticizing the cops for shooting him down with so many bullets, but seriously, what would anyone ele do under the circumstances? I'm not a supporter of cops just shooting for no reason - but if this isn't a valid reason, then what is?? When I lived in the largest city in NC, there was an incident where, at a traffic stop (unconstitutional, as all traffic stops, or "street stops" are) some 'old guy' had picked up a hooker on the street, to get some crack, and whatever 'services' from the young lady, freaked out at the traffic stop, ran through it, without any genuine harm to anybody, and 5 cops emptied their guns immediately into the fleeing car (investigation revealed that all clips were emptied completely), killing the young woman, who had no control over the situation at all. (but not the idiot driver, who will die in prison, what an idiot). And now we have this wacko, where I agree with you completely: there was nothing else for the police to do, in that case. Wonderful world, isn't it?
