Owner59 -> Why shouldn`t the irs be a political weapon? (5/13/2013 9:12:20 PM)

Why should the irs be the only non-political government entity.....

Every other part is...

The judiciary is no longer neutral.

The SCOTUS is as political as congress.....

Disaster relief has recently become a political football.

Sany relief and Hurricane Irene

(from the link: From members of his own House Republican Conference to Republican Governors, Republicans are running away from Leader Eric Cantor’s outrageous proposal to hold disaster relief benefits from Hurricane Irene survivors until he can enact his radical agenda to cut Medicare and education. Hurricane Irene is projected to be one of the 10 costliest catastrophes in U.S. history and the Federal Emergency Management Agency is on the verge of running out of money and state and local governments can’t afford to go it alone. Families lost everything they spent a lifetime working for; they don’t need Republican Leader Eric Cantor’s partisan Washington games, they need help.")

As well as holding our economics and finances hostage unless the President does what the cons want....(debt ceiling fiasco)

Fuxnews and the gop are one and the same......obliterating any semblance of impartiality.....

And so on.....

At this point,there is no non-partisan entity in the government......

So why should it be any different with the irs....?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Considering the republicans attack anddistruction of ACCORN.....I find it hard to believe they would be upset if the irs targeted liberal groups.......like ACCORN
Yeah really, why shouldn't people adopt the morals of a snake? The other guy started it!
(that never worked in my Kindergarten, but maybe yours was different)
K.
Owner59 -> RE: Why shouldn`t the irs be a political weapon? (5/13/2013 9:36:13 PM)
That`s exactly what I`m saying.....[:D]
But to be clear, it was the other guy who started it......[;)]
Because only douche bags that have no sense of right and wrong would want to use government agencies in such a way, which they seem to do almost every day. The kicker is we keep voting them in.
Hi Orion, Hope all is well for you and your`s.
So....you were the only republican who was upset about the gop destroying ACCORN? [8D]
How did the IRS destroy ACORN?
DaddySatyr -> RE: Why shouldn`t the irs be a political weapon? (5/14/2013 6:42:24 AM)
DS, it had to be the IRS. It couldn't have been the embezzlement, voter fraud or illegally counseling people on how to get away with criminal activity (prostitution).
Peace and comfort,
Michael
No we don't vote them out often can't. Many people like me have been 'voting out' our senators and congressman for 20 years...to no avail.
Morals are only a issue for them when it comes to Harvard PhD dissertations.
How did the IRS destroy ACORN?
The gop... a political organization,targeted and destroyed ACCORN......bragged about it.
It takes a little sophistication to see the similarities ,so I understand.
Paying dumb though isn`t always something one can pull off credibly.
How did you get irs out of gop?
Sorry. I made the mistake of thinking that in a thread about the IRS being a political weapon and the GOP being accused of destroying ACORN, that the point of the your question was that the GOP used the IRS to destroy ACORN. [8|]
OrionTheWolf -> RE: Why shouldn`t the irs be a political weapon? (5/15/2013 6:38:14 AM)
Do you have a learning disability or memory issues? How many times do you have to be told, I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN.
I personally believe that the two parties are just different heads of the same dragon.
I have been upset with Republicans and Democrats over many things. You see I am not a cheerleader and look at the issue, what happened and what should be done to correct it. I don't make lame ass justifications, that erode my integrity and show I am a deceitful and hypocritical person.
Slow and steady wins the race. Just keep at it and call down anybody that shows they are just a cheerleader, for being traitors to the people. Wrong is wrong, no matter the party and voting out incumbents helps to keep them rotating out.
The post is written in english.
It speaks directly to the gop seeking the destruction of acorn and says nothing about the irs.
How do you get irs out of gop?
My response is written in English. Just in case you missed it, here is the meat of it:
The entire civil service, minus a few political appointees, is supposed to be non-partisan. Career civil servants work under Democratic and Republican administrations alike, and should be able to be professional and not let their personal political affiliations get in the way of doing their job.
That's the real problem I have with this whole story. I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing that quasi-political groups trying to register as charitable entities are given a careful look, but it should be an equal opportunity careful look.
I agree....obviously my OP was fasitious.....
Soon the CBO....one of the most balanced,honest and non-partisan institutions in our government will soon become targeted as a liberal think tank with no credibilty......b/c they`re not kowtowing to the grand oil party.....
So I say fuck it,sic the IRS on republicans.......if only to make things equal.
