Not only were the Spanish, Africans and the Indians in the Americas long before the Anglos, so were Muslims.

The first slave revolt in the Americas was by Black Muslims in 1522, about a century before the first English colonials landed at Plymouth Rock.

Filipinos were also here long before the Anglos. the Spaniards impressed crews of Filipino sailors to man the treasure fleet from Manila to Mexico, and they also brought other Asians to Acapulco, these great treasure ships began their voyages in the 1500's.

As for the English the decline of their state religion and the ascent of Islam as a faith in the UKis the least of their problems, the takeover of much of the English financial and industrial infrastructure is or should a far more pressing concern to any English who are not Tory for after all "Muslim values are Tory values" or at least Tory leaders claim.

As a symbol of their ascendance over the English the brigands and oil puppets the English ruling class installed in the Gulf Protectorates have built a great Barad-Dur overlooking the capital city they are buying from under their former masters -

The Tory spokesman Rupert Murdoch has even started the move of his headquarters to the base of this tower so as to be more readily available to his new ruling class -

News International, part of the News Corp media empire that publishes British newspapers The Sun and The Times, is negotiating a lease for a 430,000 square foot building called The Place, which, along with its taller and more famous neighbour, was funded by the state of Qatar.

Given the choice twixt a foreign religion gaining prominence, and foreign nation's buying a nation's banks, industry, and government and rendering the inhabitants second class citizens in their own homeland as is the case of the UK, the religious issue is trivial.

As imperialists themselves, the English should admire this expertly done and largely bloodless conquest of their nation and how their future ruling class had the "English" ruling class and their Tory lackeys auctioning the UK off and selling the rope used to hang themselves with at minimum bid, all while the dwindling English working class looks helplessly on.

Fucking laughable......yet again. Your post started so well but you deviated from fact and went into another rant. So many inaccuracies in it that I cant be arsed to point them out.

JeffBC -> RE: UKistan. (5/17/2013 4:17:35 PM)

From my own personal morality, if God is as some Christians describe then exactly like Lucifer I would quite literally prefer to burn in hell forever than take his side. The threat of eternal suffering is not enough to make me do evil. If God is as some Muslims or Buddhists describe the same is true. For everyone else, we get along quite nicely, thank you very much. So honestly, I don't really care if more <insert religious group here> are moving into my local area. I expect to like the vast majority of them and dislike a few of them.

thezeppo -> RE: UKistan. (5/17/2013 4:20:58 PM)

FR

I can't really see the relationship between the decline in Christianity and the rise in Islamic belief. For your analysis to hold water surely you would need to show that Christians were converting to Islam. I don't think you can infer that 'UKistan' will someday exist on the basis that Islam is rising and Christianity declining, there needs to be a more overt link between the two in my opinion.

When I took geography wales was in the west...have they moved?

I was alluding to West Sussex due south of London, land of the West Saxons. My dig was in reply to the remarks about England being over run. There have always been people migrating here, sometimes by force.

My Republican friends feel there is an issue with Muslims in the UK, there is not.

Are you a speechwriter for the BNP? I'm sensing a slight agenda here!

Yeah, so do I. Much as I agree completely with the underlying sentiment it's a complete derail of the OP and it contains a lot of spin.

Politesub53 -> RE: UKistan. (5/17/2013 4:35:28 PM)

Indeed Zeppo. Its the sort of rant the BNP would have about Johnny Foreigner. Londons infrastructure, especially the docks which made it the City it is, have always had a high degree of overseas investment, going back to the Hanseatic league and before that the Romans.

Politesub53 -> RE: UKistan. (5/17/2013 4:38:57 PM)

Blame globalisation Jeff. Once a company is on the stock market anyone anywhere can buy the shares. Since 2008 when the major banks crashed people have looked further afield for investment.

Latin America has seen enough of such similar foreign conduct to recognize it when it is occurring elsewhere.

As for the BNP or the UKIP, they are lumpen nationalists who blame the wrong class for this and other problems, it isn't the Muslim, Indian, European or Jamaican immigrant who is responsible for the UK's various ills, but the English ruling class, who, being unable to rob and enslave the people of other lands, are now compelled to loot and sell their own nation.

The sale of the English infrastructure was not done by immigrants, and since the English working class have never owned much of anything in their homeland, these industries and lands were never theirs to sell. So who does it leave?

Politesub53 -> RE: UKistan. (5/17/2013 5:00:04 PM)

Another anti English rant, thats two in a day. Your own ancestors were no better, this marxist crap isnt the answer, as shown by Russias example.

Care to get back on topic which seems to be an atheist organisations attempt at scaremongering.

Don't like having your champions called to account, do you?

That "atheist scaremongering" is most likely a disinformation campaign sowed by the ruling class you serve, after all better the serfs battle each other over manufactured issues than call the Tory to justice.

thompsonx -> RE: UKistan. (5/17/2013 5:19:35 PM)

I understood the political stuff I was just trying to orient your post to a geography class I may have taken fifty years ago or so.

Lmfao, spoken like a man without a clue. It isnt as if your own socialist leader is squeaky clean is it, flying about in jets owned by drug dealers.

When you want to debate the lack of accuracy in your posts, feel free.

And many historians (often plaid cymru supporters, it must be remembered) are convinced that the original population of mainland Britain was driven into Wales by the influxes of Roman and Saxon immigrants.
I should have realised that joke wouldn't travel...
