Just wanted to chime in and applaud you for taking (or at least really thinking about) that first step and being open minded to being actively involved at munches/events etc. As others have said, you'll see every kind of body type just like you do out in the everyday world. Don't let any of those worries be the reason you don't do something you want to do. If you try it and you don't like it, no worries. But don't hold back because you think everyone else there is going to be a model.

Interesting question. I'm glad you asked it.

As a BBW myself (I also hate that term!), I have found I'm very accepted on this site. I have yet to attend any social BDSM gatherings (still working up my courage), but I would assume I'd be accepted there as well. Hey, if someone doesn't like a chunkier girl, it's no skin off my back--I have personal preferences, too!

As someone stated earlier, it's all about confidence, baby! I have recently gone through major life changes that have given me massive doses of confidence and I can tell a huge difference in how people treat me and the perception I give. It's so nice to be confident and have people recognize your inner (and outer!) beauty!

Listen I've found in the world of BDSM a lot of guys prefer BBW. And ur ABSOLUTELY right about confidence. OMG it makes such a difference. I'm a bisexual woman mostly into women a lot more than men. I'm not a BBW and have always been thin. I can tell you from prsnl experience confidence especially in BDSM more so than in vanilla world matters a lot. I have a friend that's a Domme , also a bbw and not the best looking girl but she's very confident very skilled in rope bondage etc. , sure of herself and this makes her attractive to me. And I don't mean that false confidence when a woman is obsessed with her weight, has to insult others to feel better bout themselves, and gets defensive at the littlest thing that stems from insecurity.

I feel the very same way, and am a BBW. I cannot stand being around people who are always apologizing for being who/what they are. My position is, do something to change it, if you hate it so much, or shut up, and love who/where you are, making no apologies. M
