I guess that just blew one of the items on Dave's list. Gee, you were gone six months and he would have deleted you.

Quite often, I don't think people understand the scope of this site. For example, they don't understand that this place gets roughly 500 new members every 24 hours. Seriously? Are you going to make a commitment for at least six months as a Mod to spend all of your time going over literally hundreds of new profiles a day? Not just the supposed ones that would be in your target demographic. ALL OF THEM. Of those new 500 profiles a day, will you also look at all of the pictures that they post, the journals they write, all while monitoring the boards and the chat rooms?

Too many folks think this site should spend it's time and resources about what person X wants because person X feels that their concerns are more important than those that belong to anyone else. They want the joint to babysit them rather than taking the responsibility for themselves. The site provides you with tools to take care of your own experience here, instead of expecting other people to hold your hand for you. Just like the post from the new dude who expects people to take up the cause because he fell for a scammer. I couldn't care less if you sent your money to somebody on the net. There's not one soul here that is to blame for that but you. The site even TOLD you not to do that. You did it anyway.

It takes the average member here less than two seconds to block any profile they don't want to see. No matter what demographic you have your preferences set to, it's a lot less than every profile that decides to create themselves a screen name.

It's an adult site. Be an adult.

I do not know!

I can speculate, though: Maybe the owner is a fake prostitute using the site as a tax write off? If he or she did something about it, the owner would loose the tax write off and have to pay lots of tax to the IRS?

I think that's pretty much dead on. From a logical perspective, it's like trying to hold back a flood with a broom.

I think the other thing that people don't realize is, that they are trying to yank some of the obvious scammers from the site. But, because it's not where you're looking, you don't see it and you assume it's not being done.

At the risk of further killing my email box by those that do not follow the rest of my reply and follow my words, here goes:

If you see something like the first occurrence listed with a website etc., or at least a dozen profiles that have the exact same wording or in the case of this situation listed, please write me directly with the information. I wish someone would have written me with the above website address because yes, there are dozens that I am going to have to direct staff to take care of, then take additional measures to keep that particular occurrence from happening again. If I would have known at the beginning there would not be that many of those profiles clogging your searches. We do not want these accounts here any more than the users do, and do NOT want those users artificially inflating the member number base, no matter what the popular opinion concerning that matter is.

Please do NOT write me about particular accounts you find or think fake. Please use your report button to report those. When there is a specific amount of DIFFERENT users reporting a particular account, the auto system takes over.

Status: offline 		Yes as you can see ips here, as well as I can. Its not very hard to figure those out. so Its VERY easy to pick apart who is on what ids and how many ids. That's why with the help of admins getting rid of 1 of the ids that is fake / spam , then all of there accounts will also vanish :) Just need to block there isp host name and then there should be no more problems. So all we as users can do is hope that the admins go forth with this so we as users can have a more friendly atmosphere here. Thanks for all your help Admins here.


Edit - Also im just a side note, im not trying to pick apart the bad parts of this site neither am I trying to hate any profile or person on this site. Just as I noticed many users on same ips with many other accounts, so that being said I was trying to help admins and give them a better understanding of how to fix that with suggestions like isp host bans. :) thanks for reading this and taking into consideration.

Im only giving suggestions on how best to help admins with certain fake accounts / spam bots. ( that's if they want to). I kindly thank you for your concern also tazzygirl. have a great night.
