I've received a few similarly worded first emails like that too. I'm just depressed that those old messages scrolled off my list of read mail before I lost my weight and now I can't contact them.

HaH! I WAS that elusive unicorn, way back before I knew how rare I was. I kick myself now, because damn I could have really leveraged all that power!

I was just kidding about wanting to get in touch with them. Most of what I say is tongue-in-cheek, the rest is me biting my tongue and saying nothing.
