Missxxx,

I'm afraid that pro/findommes do get a lot of flak around here. Don't let that put you off posting. Everybody gets flamed at first, although I don't think it was fair to bring your kids into it.

In all fairness it was the OP who brought her children into this discussion.
I would venture to say that if she had not the questions asked regarding them would not have been asked.

While that is true, potential subs are still notified up front that money will be part of the equation.

Welcome to the boards, OP.

By notified up front I assume you mean during conversations.

Let me ask you this.
If I didn't have in my profile that I was a proswitch and required payment for sessions and someone contacted me. Wouldn't they be assuming that I wasn't a pro and possibly feel like I pulled a bait and switch of sorts if only notified later that I was a pro and required payment?

What I WAS going to say, and maybe because I have never experienced it before, was that (in interest of the who use Amazon for tribute/gifting) That they can mark an item as purchased, and it shows up like they bought it and really didnt. Which had me waiting for mail like an idiot.

Nothing personal against the OP whom I don't know, nor would care to offer to opine on (With no facts or determinants, I'd look awfully sill doing so), but this is kinda funny.
I'm sorry, it just is.
Yeah, I'm cruel. And twisted I shouldn't take pleasure from the suffering of others, but what can I say-I'm a sadist. I'm just wired that way.

Awwww

Ill just go yell into my pillow instead. Always alone, even in a crowd of people.

And that's just sad.

Edited because I'm a moron who can't properly use the quote function

I see this as a title verses words that express the same thing. It isn't rocket science and a title isn't needed to know that she clearly states there will be financial expectations and I think the last thing she says is something to the effect that they can feel free to purchase something from her list, but this will be the last time there is that freedom. It is clear with a few comments she makes that money is involved, that she won't be calling them names like paypiggy and will have certain involvements in their life. A relationship, deal... whatever isn't based only on a few words on a profile as a profile isn't a contract, agreement and doesn't say it all.

I used to title myself a sensuous dominant. Boy was that a mistake. lol Now because I say I am dominant, people automatically assume that means, sadistic and I will do certain things, no way in this lifetime I am doing! My title to help others understand what side of the kneel I am on, is used... but to define it any further is pushing I think. I see no need to classify things. I may sometimes use that I am a lifestyle dominant, but even that is my choice or for my benefit.

I see no need to say... I am a findom or a prodom, when you have made it clear that something will be exchanged in the process of whatever is being done. I don't see the lack of those words as trickery when everything else said is proof that this is gonna cost ya baby.

Plenty of posters mention that they have children. It does not justify criticising her abilities as a mother.

I think when she tried saying she did it to keep her children out of daycare, so at least myself wondered where her children were when she played if not in daycare.

just 6 months?? But then again I am pretty cynical myself.

Rawni -> RE: place to complain/warn about users? (6/14/2013 2:26:15 PM)

Where are your children when you play? Talk on the phone... mess around online? To automatically assume that a parent is in the wrong and will subject their children to things one shouldn't doesn't mean they are, especially when they have shown some concern for their welfare. Whether we agree on child care or parental care, doesn't mean a thing here. She mentioned needing to support them, wanting what she considers best for them, so why would we jump to... you do this around your kids????!!!!

We don't ask what other parents are doing with their children when they seem to be online/here all day.

I am not sure why everyone is hung up on this whole child care thing...I asked first she answered there was no animosity about it so what is the problem? A few of you are having a problem with it, she did not, so why not just let it go? This is how threads get so side tracked and then locked down. She has come back told us all what she wanted to ask....so why not stick with the topic at hand? Is anything going to be gained or learned from people bickering over something the Op had no problem with?

Since you've already cleared up one TOS violation by removing that photo, perhaps you can
take a few minutes more and edit your profile. There are many members here that don't
take kindly to others disregard for the rules the site has in place, and in which you agreed to
when you joined. If enough people report your violation, you could lose your membership privileges.

There is a Professional Services section where you can post a link to your site. Just be sure to
return the advertising favor by having a Collarme Logo on your site.

Discussing something doesn't have to amount to bickering. [;)] Even disagreeing doesn't mean that we have to be angry and ready to bear arms. Personally, I feel the op did have a problem with some of this and some of it has come as a direct result of thread drift or post within the topic moving into other things, which will happen.

I can take flack as well as dish it out, dont worry, I will be here to stay.

Good to know the profile police are in the building!

I am honest. You want me to edit my profile and make it real big so its clear to those less intelligent or what?

I think that any submissive who reads that a dominant is a Fin-Domme/Dom should understand that his/her money will be part of what's required for him/her to submit.

You mention financial domination in the first sentence of your profile, so no, I don't think rational submissives should claim bait and switch if expending money is a requirement for you to take them on, however it might be described (session fees, tribute, being generous, fill in the blank).

**Edited to add that if the submissive doesn't know what a Fin-Domme/Dom is or does, the submissive should ask!

But then we know that few men actually read the profiles, [:D] , so the more explicit the better, and your bolding doesn't hurt either. [;)]

Pst... the whole thing is "off topic".

And, for some reason, Im not so sure I wanna put that handling stuff to the test... unless we are on a sunny beach, getting foot massages and drinking margaritas!

We arent trying to be profile police. And photos will just typically get reported and you will get a site message explaining why a photo was removed. I was just being nice in explaining that rule.

For textual problems, such as poise pointed out, I have seen profiles wiped clean. I guess you would get a letter explaining why. But then there may be other problems that go along with that. We have had many findommes complaining their profiles cant be viewed.

So, in reality, poise also did you a kindness in explaining the problems, which many do not know when they are new.

I hope that helps. If we really just wanted to be bitchy we simply could have pointed out the problems to the power's that be and let you take the licks as they come.

I mean, if you can't tell about pro-domme in my profile, I dont really know what to tell ya, I havent had an issue with it yet.

What I WAS going to say, and maybe because I have never experienced it before, was that (in interest of the who use Amazon for tribute/gifting) That they can mark an item as purchased, and it shows up like they bought it and really didnt. Which had me waiting for mail like an idiot. I have NEVER heard of that happening, and was interested if it happened to anyone else. I wasnt interested in naming the person that did it, but talk about how users are doing it.
I guess it does come off as I wanted to blacklist him. Which in all fairness, it is scummy to do and I would like to give him a good whack for it.

I know some people are going to go on and on about how Im crying or shouldnt require tribute or I deserve it, or whatever the fuck, and I dont care.
It still frustrated me.

Ill just go yell into my pillow instead. Always alone, even in a crowd of people.

I would say if you're a pro domme, you better get used to it. It won't be the first or last time it happens. You have never had a man cancel a session or say they will send you something and then didn't until now? If so then you've been really, really fortunate. But I can guarantee you it will happen again and again and again.

Good luck.
