So you think free speech should not be legal?

//

I am glad you are up to date on flouride levels. The city water here remains at 1.3 ppm. It was never reduced.

No, what I meant was that lieing through your teeth supporting something you dont believe in is legal, and making money off it.

Hunk, it is not illegal to make statements you do not believe in, even post those statements on the web. It is not illegal to make money off the practice.

Alex Jones and those like him are making money off promoting conspiracy theories, pitching products that support their statements.

Six of the biggest Doomsday gear suppliers are in it for the money. They dont believe in it, and their idea of a "doomsday" bunker is a vacation condo in the Bahamas.

They, like the conspiracy theory promoters, count on the gullibility of the listeners and readers. P. T. Barnum said there was a sucker born every minute.

There is another point to the promotion of conspiracy theories, to plant the seeds of discontent. HItler did that quite well with the "Jewish" conspiracy he preached before he was elected to office.

It is the oldest political ploy in the book, Tell people why they should be afraid, point to someone or group and claim they are the cause of all the problems in a society, and then tell them you will do something about it.

The problem is that with all these claims, you would think that there would be some tangible proof to support them. There never is. With the exception of a few conspiracies in history, most have turned out to be pure fiction. Of the conspiracies in the 20th century, Iran Conta and Watergate are the only two that have proven valid that I know of.

So you engage in thought control?

Thats what you are doing. You are insisting that only the state sponsored version of the "truth" is presented. I find that absolutely chilling.

Government approved truth? How was the breaking of the watergate scandal government approved truth, or Iran Contra?

Those conspiracies come out because someone talked.

Someone always talks.

Everyone of the detention camps Jones howled about turned out to be either in another country, or did not exist. The flu vaccine that was intended to harm by the government, no one died.

How many CIA ops have been blown because someone talked? Air America, remember that?

Hell, hunk, some of this stuff has been preached as "about to happen" since Reagan, followed by Bush, then Clinton. and so on. Since the advent of the Internet, it has ballooned. Too many people actually believe that you cant put something on the internet if it was not true.

The funny thing is that the stuff that the US citizens do not know or suspect is far more interesting. Like the NASA listening station on a mountain in North Carolina. Every sign noting its location, its entrance all have NASA plastered all over them.

Then there is the signs on the fence and guard shack. Really nice signs, bold printing, easy to read in daylight and at night...

This is a Department of Defense Installation. Deadly Force is Authorized to prevent unauthorized entry.

I know ever inch of that site, I was the head of security there for two years. Watched the local papers and tv reporters do "Expose` Reports" up there all the time. They would sit in the outside visitor parking lot and take pictures of Air Force uniforms coming and going, cars with government plates that are assigned to vehicles used by various intel agencies, and basically show that the government was lieing about who was using the facility. I believe 60 minutes did a story about it, noting that NASA has not used the facility since the mid seventies.

You know, like Area 51. You had to have a top secret clearance to work the gate house and perimeter patrol, then those of us who actually were cleared to patrol inside checking locks, safes and stuff had a much higher clearance. And the sections we could not go in, where the listening equipment was, had card reader controlled locks, no windows, in fact we were instructed that in case of fire, not to let the local fire department into the building. If the onsite squad could not put it out, so be it.
Alex Jones has been caught in lies so many times by actual reporters, debunkers and every day people.

Of course Jones acts like a blithering idiot. That's how he makes a living.

But I was thinking about something when I read the story accompanying the video. What kind of secret organization would let people know when and where it meets and who is attending those meetings? Just how incredibly stupid are the true believers in these sorts of conspiracy theories?

Well it does seem a bit funny to see the Queen of England in Ottawa Ca. making a totally private visit with these folks. But I have read what I believe to be quotes from members. They do not inspire confidence. These are about 120 of the most powerful people of western and Asian society. Muslims and communists need not apply. What's the attraction ?

All who are sworn to public secrecy covering everything that goes on in these meetings, don't need to tell us anymore. When in Va. you couldn't get within a 1/2 mile of the Marriott resort they used and it isn't strange at all for most people to be very curious as to just what it is they talk about or do.

I don't think it is about room service or pool parties or say, global warming. I think the subject of conversation is quite different. Go listen to the 5 min. speech that some say and I somewhat agree, may have...got Kennedy killed. Not hard to extrapolate it was about the Bilderberg group.

Recall, the biggest conspiracy theories in history often turn out to be true.

Like I said the purpose of the meetings are very well known if you care to actually look. It is to promote cooperation between Europe and the Americas. As to the secrecy of the discussions, the only way to have frank discussions between politicians and other leaders is to keep it secret. If the discussions were public it would stifle the frank and honest exchange of ideas.

More Jones lies:
That a minor tweak to USDA regulations would prevent Americans from growing food in their backyards
The dollar is always about to go into a hyperinflation spiral (according to Jones and associates at least for the last decade).
Another 26 lies

The discussion of all theories require an end function. Evolution...since proved. Relativity...time/travel/space relationship. Criminal conspiracy theories result in or are to result in a crime. Once committed, reveals the conspiracy. Criminal conspiracy requires two or more people so lone wolves don't count.

I look at most events and simply ask questions. Funny how it is that society does too but not all of them. We don't believe that govt. tells the truth about the economy or foreign military justifications, or where it is important domestically...policy questions and decisions. 'Bush was the greatest liar. No, Obama is the greatest liar. So and so is just lying.' We say.

But what of serious events of violence ? Even those occasional crimes that we do seem to know, want to know, we still seem to ask all of the right questions. But just what are we being told and do we question it, that [it] all holds up under scrutiny ?

So my problem is why do most of the people believe the govt. when it tells us of foreign and domestic attacks ? I don't and there remains far, far too many unanswered questions about most of the criminal conspiracies the US has suffered.

Those unanswered questions and far, far too many govt. 'official' 'pat' answers is what drives conspiracy theorists. Not enough truth yet to put these things to bed. We will never know the entire truth about most of what has hit our country and going way back. So that now is the country we live in.

Let me just point out that the non-marked elements on that ingredient list are equally entertaining.

Beryllium, Cadmium, Chromium, Fluorine, Strontium, Thorium, Thallium... Thallium?!

"Thallium enriched health drink" defines the word oxymoron.

and that is EXACTLY what you endorse J61 is government mandated thought control. You are a catyalist for the UN. You are a NWO pusher.

The official truth- has to come from on high.

Think about that. This same government is now in 5 wars- what have you done to stop it? nothing- because you are part of the problem by enabling the statists! and that is a fact.

5? You are behind. Try 7 combat zones.

And still less than the last administration.

You blew my cover! I now must hunt you down, paint you international safety orange, and hang you from the right foul marker at Yankee stadium.

Let me explain some things to you.

1) I maintain my security clearance, even though I am not actively working in any field that requires it. This makes it easy to get stuff that is not as redacted from the freedom of information inquiries that some people have gotten. Granted, the stuff that is not blacked out is not all that incriminating. I personally feel that the GAO blacks stuff out just to make it look mysterious.

2) I have one cousin who is presently assigned to USSSOCOM, not to mention a cousin who is a navy seal, one that is marine recon, and a couple of others that I am not quite sure what the fuck they are assigned to. We either talk on the phone daily, since they get the news about my family before I do, or we email a few times a day. When they are unreachable by any means, I know something is up.

3) Ops that I was involved in during the Reagan years have still not been declassified, and he is dead. When some of those become public knowledge, all hell is gonna break loose, IMO. Of course, it may be so long after the fact that the generation in charge will probably blow it off.

4) I would like to point out the painfully obvious fact. The easiest way to keep people from looking for the truth is to feed the masses carefully structured bullshit. It is called the art of misdirection.

Considering the massive amount of "information" pointing to conspiracies since the Reagan years, some of these sources from former military men who were involved in some pretty questionable activities during the vietnam war, makes me wonder what the government is really trying to hide.

For example, why is the Air Force paying for research into Hyper Sonic passenger travel? Why were two researchers specializing in high power lasers sitting at the payload monitor stations in Mission Control when the space shuttle was carrying "Spy" satellites?

You see hunk, I dont buy into the popular conspiracy theories, simply because when you look at them, they would take a logistical effort that most countries including the US to pull off.

For instance, when Watergate broke, there were rumors that Nixon was considering using nukes in vietnam. Probably the most insane thing attributed to a sitting president, then the Post dropped the Watergate story.

That actually pissed me off, I was in fourth grade and the televising of those hearings fucked up afternoon and some prime time television schedules.

Go ahead, buy into the bizarre. Follow Alex Jones and anyone else you care to.

Me, I will sit and watch, build my ammo stockpile, and keep my nice big ex military truck in top working condition so I can leave my house and bug out to a better place to hole up.

The reason this country is in such bad shape is that the banks made trillions of dollars of bad loans on everything from business start ups to home loans, and the bottom fell out.

The reason this country is in bad shape is because American companies would rather pay some poor slob in another country 50 cents a day instead of paying Americans a decent wage.

The reason this country is in such bad shape is because politicians, regardless of party, push their own agenda, and whatever agenda they are paid by lobbyists to push, and dont do a damn thing to actually improve this country in any way shape or form. They have let the infrastructure in this country deteriorate to the point that more than half the dams in this country are considered unsafe, most of the bridges are considered structurally unsound, and the highways are in such poor condition that you run the risk of blowing tires on fucking pot holes.

Towns are going back to dirt roads because they cant afford to pave the goddamn roads. Police and fire departments are laying off people because the government is to fucking busy buying shit for the defense department that the defense department dont want, scream loudly they dont need, and get it shoved down their throats any way.

What have I done to change things, I write letters to every fucking paper and news outlet I can. I post bullshit bills our congressman and senator support that do absolutely nothing on the local community web page.

I write letters demanding the release of people in federal prison that were wrongly convicted, improprieties so bad even the justice department screamed foul and they still sit on a life sentence.

I push for better care for our vets who served in two wars that history has proven that no outside power has ever managed to pacify.

I fill out up to four freedom of information requests a day on subjects that seem to have been neglected by your patron saint.

I support financially groups that are pushing for actual treatment for vets exposed to agent orange, that cant get treatment because they smoke, or drink or some other bullshit reason the VA wants to use.

I vote in elections, speak out at town hall meetings were the candidates try to push their agenda. I attend every county commissioner meeting to let my feelings known about their bullshit reasons for not letting some company come into the county that would bring jobs other than fast food.

I have watched the city and county run TI, General Dynamics, Bandag, and other companies out of the area because they were not the kind of jobs they wanted.

I protested the county commissioners making it so hard for a car company interested in putting a plant here, that the company built one in a town 50 miles away that is not on an interstate, or four lane highway, or near a freaking airport.

What have you done besides push insane conspiracy theories, scream the praises of a lunatic, quote news sources that are as credible as a blind man predicting the weather.

Hunk, if you knew what the general opinion about you is, you would probably never return.

You want to be taken seriously, then start screaming about the bullshit the government is trying to shove down your throat in the name of progress. Scream about the taxes that make things better for the wealthy and harder for everyone else.

Push for congress to make money available to get rid of the old lead pipes in cities and towns and update water and waste treatment. If you live close to a damn, find out what the Army Corps of engineers have it rated.
