This may be her preferred way to feel connected to you. If you find it irritating, you could let her know it's a bit of a turn off, and ask if there's something else she enjoys that you can do together to produce the same result.
I have. She doesn't. Lather, rinse, repeat. I've been trying to do just that the last eleven years, and have essentially given up by this point [:)]
