The number one social site on the internet is still Facebook for right now. Give it another year or so though and another company will surpass that. But Collarme/Collarchat is definitely nowhere near number 1

I enjoy internet forums on the whole. I visit a pretty wide variety of topic specific forums. Guitar and guitar amp technical forums are my favorites. I avoid political discussions and forums. They more often than not remind me of chimpanzees flinging their dung at one another. Addictive? I dunno about that but I do enjoy them.

You know you're a collarme addict when . . .

Can't resist sharing an oldie but goody.

You know you're addicted when you see the title of a thread and think.... oh, yeah when was that? And dcnovice beats you to it and you GASP! to find out that it was started in 2007..... and you know you were in there with a really good post that was something like:

You know you're addicted to CM when you remember which page you last read on the ... say, TRAIN WRECK thread, so that you can go to that page without missing anything.

Yeah, this site is addictive. I've had experiences on other boards, but this one has a lot of advantages over them. It's a fun subject, the people here are cool, and the mods don't come down on me for the occasional "fuck" or "shit" I insert into some of my messages (contextually required). When I modded a board, I went batty censoring some user's postings and sending no-no messages their way. I love Off-Topic and Polls. Humor and Games is another favorite, especially the TPBM threads.

As someone who has been on collarchat for a long time, I can say it was addicting at one time, but now there seems to be less fun and more boring threads.

Eh, it ebbs and flows. But I do follow the "I admit" thread.
