If someone is referring to you as "Master" within the first few minutes, yes, you're right, they could be looking for cyber-only and calling you that gets them off, or their submission could have no value. Or,...they could just be inexperienced. Maybe a little naive. Maybe searching for something online that they don't have in their offline worlds and taking those first steps toward realizing what could be. They may be learning what that word even means to them, how it feels to say it or write it, and whether it does mean anything to them or not. Just because you know what it means to you doesn't mean every submissive knows how they feel about it.

Agreed. Two other main reasons.

1. Scammer. 419 scammers try to use horniness as a lever. If a "woman" encourages you to talk about extremely graphic things from jump, there's a good chance a request to wire money is coming soon.

2. Frustrated men pretending to be women. Lots of bi guys pretend to be women, play-act, come, then stop. Repeat again the next day. OP, given your ethnicity, you may also attract forced-bi-wanting cuckold-sub men, because there's a racial angle tied into that kink for a lot of people. As with (1), men tend to be much more, um, direct, than women are.

Good luck on the kinky internet, OP. It's a jungle out here. And my kindest regards to your lady friend. [;)]

RedMagic1

Thank you for the post. It was informative, and identified a couple of angles I had not considered. It would seem that my practice is a sound one. That is immediately terminating IM session when someone who really does not know me at all starts referring to me as Master.

1) The main point was simple be honest about what you want
2) I never said anything was wrong with Cyber my problem was with the deceit
3) I never said I wanted anyone to meet me in real life immediately.
4) Not being able to see the merit in a topic, does not mean the merit does not exist. It is equally possible that the one who cannot see the merit has clouded vision
5) Stolen picture, the funniest of them all. It's called a Living Social Boudoir photography deal. This is the same picture we use on Google+. Perhaps I should post a few more from the session. Let's see if I'm accused of stealing those as well.

Although it's doubtful I will respond I am looking forward to the last words no matter how negative, confrontational or simian they may be. My partner and I shall certainly get a laugh out of it as we walk above it all.

I don't think it's confrontational but I have a thought on the matter.

I think there is going to be a section of folks on the site that are basically using their profiles and journals to illustrate the fantasies that they have that they may or may not be willing to do in real life. For some, it destroys the illusion a bit if they say that it's not real, even if they don't have any intention of doing these things in the physical world. They are playing out a character or some type of supposing who they would like to be and it's just not as fun for them to do the reality check of saying "by the way, this is all really just for pretend". It might take the wind out of the sails for them, so they don't want to put that part out there.

I get what you are saying about deceit. I'm just saying that it may be the only way a person can play out their fantasies without admitting to themselves and others that they aren't ready to get past the fantasy stage.

Thank you LadyPact

For the record I was not soliciting confrontational or negative responses. However that’s what I expected based on a bunch of the initial replies. Any additional replies of the like I will continue to ignore and laugh at.

Enough digression; I can see your point. Apparently what I have and continue to view as deceit seems to be on some level a kind of alternate reality for some. One they may or may not merge into their real life.
That’s not the way I operate, but I do understand it may very well exist.

I have read so many journal entries / forum posts on CM from female subs complaining about fake male Doms. I have no interest in demeaning the truthfulness or significance of their experiences. However I do feel compelled to post about cyber subs masquerading as a sub in search of a real life Dom.

If a cyber D/S experience meets your needs that’s fine. There is nothing wrong with that. I am sure there are plenty of cyber Doms who can accommodate you. What’s senseless is why these cyber subs pretend to be in search of a real life D/S dynamic only to achieve an instant messenger scene.

If you are referring to me as Master within the first 2 minutes of an IM conversation you are either a cyber-sub pretending or your submission is of so little value you are willing to give it away as opposed to having your perspective Master earn it. Either way a true Dom with something to offer in search of a true sub with something to offer is not going to be interested.

There is nothing more valuable then a woman's submission. However I don't think I could value it without having gone through the process of earning it.

You lost me at "true Dom".

Rawni -> RE: Cyber subs? (6/21/2013 10:45:30 AM)

MrBuild,

You are a very enterprising young man. It seems you have your hands in all sorts of business ventures and commendable pursuits, which is quite amazing considering your age and what it takes to be just one of the many things you have claimed to have done or been a part of. You seem to be everywhere if one follows the trail you leave by using your pictures and if indeed you are the man in the picture. Your many names trace back to one another and that is a very brave thing to do, especially if you don’t want all the dots to connect. I can understand why you would put the ‘Real’ in one and though you aren’t concerned about people impersonating you, you really ought to consider that they might and how that would play out with the various things you do.

It’s all in a picture these days and recorded online, for what could be a very, very long time and if one takes the time, they can see any inconsistency, learn far too much about you and where you might be at any given time.

I would personally be concerned about a number of these things. I am not saying you are or are not any of these people, as there seems to be some consistency in many things and yet, I just cannot imagine someone as public as you are with the things you are trying to accomplish, wanting some of these things connected.

Your way in which you blog, speak, present yourself; as you know is of great importance to someone as industrious as you are. Personally, I don’t care about much of it in my own life, but I can assure you, that when I step out on a professional level in some ventures I plan, I will not be connecting dots for anyone to follow me from one venture to another. Not that I have anything to hide and wouldn’t if what I do was found out, but why lose the money if you don’t have to?

As for your post here, I can see how it can be perceived in various ways, but considering where we are, where we post/blog/speak or do presentations, we must consider where we are and how what we say or do might be viewed. The responses one will get on one site may be quite different than what we will see on another. We must also consider that if we are a new poster/blogger, etc. that we have no history with the people we are approaching and they can only see what you have said in one session/post/blog. Unless they take the time as I have to connect the dots, they cannot have a full picture and even with the picture I have found and seen, I am still unsure of many things. Aren’t you glad?

Anyway, take my words for what they are worth to you and consider what you might of them.

Rawni -> RE: Cyber subs? (6/21/2013 11:58:32 AM)

*Blushing*

Oh... MrBuild... you could have said all you said publicly. I wouldn't have minded at all. However, some of it may have been against TOS.

The difference between what we each have said is that you leave a trail of facts that prove the warning of being careful what you post out there, which is what I said. As I said... take it for what its worth to you... or not. [:D]

Or she could be of the gorean persuasion. Not every girl announces that on her profile, and it sometimes just slips out there unintentionally.

Sounds like the "submission is a gift" crowd. Which would make you incompatible for many submissives I know. We dont consider it a gift or any more special than a man's dominance. It is just what is is, one half of a whole, the whole needed to be complete for both. What I bring to a relationship is no more special that what a man brings to it.

Or....he was just starting a conversation.

Thank you Kaliko, as this was my sole intent. However after seeing how some misinterpreted and misunderstood the content and point of my post I initially decided not to respond. People have different perspectives and there is room for each of them. That being said I know there is a difference between a conversation and a pissing match, and I do not participate in pissing matches. I will however itemize the points of my op and then leave the last word to anyone who feels compelled to have it.

There are four or five links to web sites from tineye and eight pages on google image search. So you are a model on top of everything else? You should go into career advancement and show all of us how to accomplish all that you have in such a short time. Either that isn't you or everyone is using your images.

And yet those photos are popping up on about... 8 pages... of web sites. I would be very interested in seeing the others from the same session.
