The best weapon we could give them is massive training for atheism and humanism. Reduce the number of radical idiot on all religious fronts - Jewish, Christian, and Islam! If you follow a god that is a mass murderer, commits genocide, and plans eternal torture for everyone that does not "believe" what do you really expect - peace? (ROFLMFAO) It will never happen as long as you are following and F'd up God!
The radical Christians (inquisition, crusades, conversion by torture; white supremacists); the radical Jews; the radical islamists - are all fully justified by their FAITH. Until you can remove that all your actions are moot!!!
This war has been running for centuries. What makes anyone think that arming or not arming women is going to make a damb difference in it. Oh lets give Jane a gun! Wow - that will really scare a trained soldier. Now give her and a million other ladies a 50 cal sniper rifle with night vision and spend ten thousand or so teaching her how to hit targets a 1/4 to 1/2 mile then it might make a difference. While you are at it put a tank in every home and a chicken in every pot.
As for women not being dangerous or what ever that comment was - check that stats for suicide bombers - middle east, korea, and vietnam! You will find plenty of women! My fathers best friend - BOOOMMMM = woman with an child suicide bomber. How many women kill themselves every year? Give them just enough psychological push and create an enimy for them and some of them whould be more than capable of taking others with them. Fanaticism, hate, murder, etc are not based on sexuality!
Remove the religious cancer at the heart of it all and it might end. Until that happens - stay scared and stay prepared! They will kill you and they have every religious right to kill you! If you don't believe that then go read their holy books and take a moment and read yours! In the end god murders all and tortures those who don't follow what god dictates! (Even that whole 120 year life limit thing could be considered mass murder!) What makes you think that a god who can do that has any real issue with follower who do it?
Oh, and welcome to the club! Many Americans have had to live in terror in their own country because of their sexuality and other beliefs conflicting with the Christian faith. Karma - now you get a taste of your own hate reflected back at you by the big bad scary racidal islamisists! Have fun you earned it!
